Keep in mind when people say "football" they may be referring to American Football as opposed to Association Football.

Yeah but here's the problem. In the professional sports games such as Madden or FIFA or NBA 2K or whatever they are, they are extremely extremely advanced. It has taken decades of work to get those sports games to be so advanced. At best, the sports in GTA V would be very simplistic.

Even so, I think sports in GTA V would be cool. Just don't overdo it, because then I'll just go play FIFA.
