Okay first of all: I want you guys to check out following videos:

The first video is Square Enix Real Time Tech-Demo that they'll use for the Next Xbox & Playstation followed by two Real time gameplay videos







I know that gameplay is still the most important aspect of a game, but since Rockstar didn't reveal new info for 7 months now, I think it would've been better to develop a next-gen game. GTA V will be compared to Watch Dogs because it will be the better looking current gen open world game.(Watch dogs is confirmed for current gen and will probably be released for next-gen consoles as well)

I think thats the big problem.

Why? I mean Watch Dogs is on a high-end PC. Beyond is on PS3 for Blu-Ray HD. If these games can go on this gen, then why can't GTA V?

Beyond does use next-gen Motion capture technology thats why the faces in the cutscene or QTE's are that impressive. I read this on CVG. But apart from that, Beyond doesn't look that impressive in terms of Eviroment and so on. As I said, Watch Dogs will be on current gen as well. It will not come close to the demo that they showed at E3 but I believe the effects, animation will still look impressive on 360/Ps3!

I know. But since Rockstar is late to the party with a possible 2013 release, I think that people would have been more impressed with a next-gen game.

Why next gen if theres no consoles yet. We dont know exaclty how long it takes for us to buy new ps, xbox. And I preffer V on this gen than after several years on next ones.

There is no difference between Blu-ray on PS3 and DVD on XBOX other than you can fit a helluva lot more data into a Blu-ray disc.

Here is an interesting arrangement of info for the Next-Gen seekers. Xbox has no plans to release a new console over the next several years. They are still generating great sales with this generation. In a recent statement by Sony, they do not want to release a next gen console until they can be sure they release the best console. Sony also stated that it is NEVER their desire to be the FIRST to release a new console and that they would rather come second and have the best and cheapest console than to be the first.

I don't plan on getting a PS4/Xbox 720 until ~2-3 years after release...so thats 2016-2017, another 4-5 years away. Same goes for lots of others. If they release it too early into the lifetime of the new consoles then they won't as much until more people move over to the new consoles.

By 2016-2017 GTA IV will be 8-9 years old! I don't know bout anyone else but I have already completed IV multiple times and I got bored of it. Why not just release V for this gen? It gives us a new game to play for the next 4-5 years. It was over 4 years ago that IV came out.

When the new consoles come then there will be VI about a year or two after their release then in another 4-5 years there will be VII.

I have no problem with what Rockstar are doing. Well, what I guess they are doing. If they can make V look as good as Red Dead Redemption then I honestly don't give a f*ck if it's for PS3.

First of all - Watch Dog's is this gen as said by Ubisoft's spokesman... Second of all; are you f*cking kidding me? You kid's are complaining about the "shameful" eight month wait and now you're suggesting that V should have been next gen? What a f*cking sick joke this is.
