Would you prefer to have

a) 1 large city with plenty of small towns (~50)

b) 1 large city with 1-2 smaller cities and a few small towns (~10)

What kind of urban and rural areas you want?

A bit of desert, mountains, forrest for example in rural areas.
Urban I don't mind that much, if urban is really alive (people driving, walking, running, cops etc) I am happy biggrin.gif

That would be my choice.

Option B.

+/- 50 towns would be way too much and I think that it would become boring/more of the same.

Around 10 towns in the middle of forests etc. would be best i.m.o.

I want some sprawl. What I didn't like about SA was that you left the city and poof!... hick valley all around you. At the time it was cool, we didn't know any better. This time I want some sprawl and suburbs to soften the blow. Not a realistic amount, cause that would be boring but enough to make it believable that you're driving from a big city into the countryside.

So something like option B: 1 large city, some sprawl that maybe incorporates a smaller city or village and some towns dotted around the countryside.

small towns (~50)

A lot of people here have no concept of reality.

One large city accompanied by a couple smaller cities like San Fierro in San Andreas and a handful of small towns and villages.

I'm gonna go for option b, but I want more suburbs surrounding the cities this time around. I agree with the guy who stated that San Andreas was weird in the sense that you would leave the city and instantly end up in vast, remote countryside and wilderness. Here is a round-up of what I'd like :

1 large city with 1-2 smaller cities (both 2 or all 3 cities with suburban surroundings), a few towns, vast surrounding countryside, and natural wilderness environments.

That's my choice. I am more used to city life more than countryside life.

Preferably b) 1 large city with 1-2 smaller cities and a few small towns (~10)
as option A would make the game map feel more cramped!

B.) I'd like one big city, LS, and a few smaller cities like San Bernardino(could be Del Perro) and San Diego or Orange County(could be Los Puerta).

R* could add one or two small towns, just so when you go into the country it can feel like you have a specific location to go. Maybe a ghost town too.

If we could have a Just Cause 2 size map then B but with the amount of detail involved the more conservative A. Proportionally I think that A would resemble the real life map better. Unless they go farther and add San Diego then we will have two large cities and small towns/rural. Its all good.

I believe:

One major city Los Santos (of course)

2 - 3 other cities (like San Diego and maybe Tijuana)

Half a dozen or so smaller settlements (towns) with surround mountains, forest, desert etc.

The map will be 5 times bigger than GTA IV Libert City so Los Santos a third of the map, 2 - 3 other possible cities make a quarter, a fifth of the map would be towns and smaller settlement and the rest large environment to make up such large map.

I'd be cool with just 3 large cities; LA, SD, TJ (like GTA IV, but larger). No hick towns with tractors on the roads.
