What a shame. |

Looks pretty similar to the "bland Eurotrash sh*tbox" to me. |
Man what the f*ck. Your comments always make me laugh(though I disagree with that one). The cars not bad in my opinion, and eurotrash? Pfft, please, American cars are in no way better and that's from an American. I like old Ferrari's but this new Cheetah's okay.
No it's just ignorant that you called it eurotrash or even said eurotrash, that's just stupid... |
The Testarossa was a very "hot" car during the Miami Vice era of the 80's, but has NOT aged well. It looks like crap today, and is WAY more over the top than the Cheetah. The Cheetah is actually a lot like the Dodge Viper, and looks like it's worth a lot of money, whereas the Ferrari Testarossa looks a bit cheap and plastic, as were many cars from the eighties. |
Very few things from the 80's look good today & this car is no exception. It's the automotive equivalent of power suits, shoulder pads & big hair, just horrid. Unlike the Lamborghini Countach, which was the young lads pin up car of the decade but was actually designed in the late 60's & unveiled to the public in 1971 Unfortunately, by the 80's all the clean lines had been replaced with bulging wheel arches & huge spoilers.

| QUOTE (Johnny Playert @ Monday, Aug 20 2012, 22:36) | Okay, serious discussion here... If you can't appreciate criticism, don't bother to post. Look at the car:

The first thing that popped in my head was, what the hell is this? This new rendition of the beloved Cheetah just looks like... f*cking overkill. This is not what i'd expect from GTA. Look at those massive wheelarches, the front ones even got giant airintakes on top, looks like some Ridge Racer sh*t to me.
Who agrees that what we see here is leaning more towards being over-the-top (i.e. Saint's Row type cars) instead of the more 'realistically' inspired cars (i.e. GTA IV)? Why do i ask? Because unless we get car customization (which is likely, hence the custom paintjob) i think R* caved and GTA V will be more of a fun-type sandbox game with silly minigames instead of a more 'mature' V like GTA IV.
I'm a LONG time fan, a lot of you are also, so ask yourselves: would this car look right in GTA IV? | It seems like you just hate supercars. Supercars do exist in the real world, so it is not unrealistic if one or two appear in GTA V. I don't want stupid Saints Row style gameplay, but I don't want the dull and boring GTA IV gameplay either. San Andreas struck the right balance in my opinion. Outside of the main story missions, what was fun about GTA IV?

Outside of the main story missions, what was fun about GTA IV? | Wait wait wait, so according to this guy Johnny, alot of modern day super cars (2012+), look like something out of ridge racer? AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! And over the top? Take a look at the Koenigsegg cars, Gumpert Apollo, Citroen GT, and other exotics, then tell if you still think that the Cheetah is not realistically inspired. Also, according to your logic, A new "over the top" Cheetah = "fun-type sandbox game with silly minigames instead of a more 'mature' V like GTA IV."

lol Yeah, until you get it and drive down the road, you will then find 20 of these parked on the road side | I'm sure they have limiters in V, It was one of the biggest complaints about IV. If you ask me, it won't go unfixed this time.

Mini games and a little of the over-the-top fun are desperately needed. Why for f*ck's sake do people need some dull ass 'mature' gta4 sh*t? A good balance is needed. f*cking of course realism will still be there even if there are mini games & sh*t. And if you think playing mini games aren't congruent to your boring ass style of play, then don't play mini games? There's a reason that the majority of people don't think gta4 is as fun as SA. & it's because the serious tone of IV makes the game not as enjoyable to most people as the well-balanced SA. /thread This post has been edited by Kjax39 on Thursday, Aug 30 2012, 15:53
