I need a hand here, before anyone says that laptops are on the lower end for PC games, and I should build a desktop if I want decent results - I know. But I'm not really in the position to have a desktop PC right now, and it would be a lot more practical to have a laptop that I can take with me to college as I do a lot of graphics work.
Now, I don't really want to spend a tonne so £500 is like my absolute limit - I've seen this laptop right here: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-seri...212978-pdt.html It does enough for what I need, but I'd also like to play some games on here. I'm not looking for like Crysis at 60fps on 3 monitors or anything. I'll probably just play stuff like Minecraft, Morrowind, Oblivion and the games that came with the most recent Humble Bundle - I have no worries about those as I can play them on my old laptop just fine and that had integrated graphics and intel celeron LOL.
I also just recently bought Splinter Cell Conviction on PC as I saw it brand new for £3 so I thought why not, despite not having a new PC yet... Will this be able to run it? There are a few other games but let me sum it up
Will it be able to run the following games at a decent level: -Splinter Cell Conviction -Skyrim -Battlefield 3 (I understand this one is pretty unlikely) -The Witcher 2 (I understand this one is pretty unlikely)
This video is on same model as the laptop I'm looking at and it seems to run battlefield 3 fine, I just wanted to confirm before I spend £500.
Out of curiosity though, if anyone can find me a desktop PC for £400-£450 (I'll need to buy a keyboard and mouse and wi-fi thingy and I've got a monitor so I've bumped off £50) that will beat this laptop outright and run those games at a decent rate, then post it also and it might change my mind. Cheers!!

Okay guys nevermind, cracked and bought and Xbox 360 to go with the PS3 that I already have. Figured it's better to get a system that I know can play all the non-PS3 games I want to play (Witcher 2, SC: Conviction, Alan Wake etc) rather than getting a laptop that probably won't play them well and that I know nothing about PC gaming.
I got a cheaper laptop with better specs all round except for the graphics card (uses the standard laptop intel HD graphics) which is more than enough for all my college needs.
