So, two days ago I finally passed Yusuf Amir's "Sexy Time" mission. After nearly a month of staying away from the game because of to much disappointment in my own helicopter skills, it seemed I had gotten around the controls of the heli thus icing those boats during my first try.

I my case I'd name that mission my sorta-Waterloo. It kept me away from the game for so long and I was just really mad about how stupid those controls were and how difficult it was with no auto-aim and whatnot.
But what about you? What (or which) of the tBoGT missions did you find the hardest to overcome?

well,it wasn't the actual mission for me,it was the things i had to do to get the 100% on it for the achievement and all this...the mission was ( i can't recall the name right now ) the one where i had to escape from the deal with the Triads and where you need to go thru few floors full of mobsters...

I had some trouble aiming those bolts to release that noose tank hanging from helicopter. I wasn't very pro aiming with PS3 analog sticks back then and that was really bumpy ride as well... It was driving me crazy when i somehow managed to shoot all 3 bolts really fast but the 4th one just wouldn't break loose and i kept running out of time....

I always make it a point to have the "Kills in Free Aim" percent be 100%. TBoGT makes this difficult since Buzzard minigun and APC cannon kills do NOT count as free aim (Buzzard rockets do, though).

The result is that the APC mission (Caught with your pants down), I end up having to complete WITHOUT using the APC cannon. On top of that, I tried to go for 100% all in one go (so no cannon + meet all criteria).

Took me an entire day, but I finally managed it. I ended up having to stop the APC, get out, and toss sticky bombs at cops.

I agree with the first one. Sexy Time was the hardest mission for me. It's really not fair, if you haven't played IV. It's not fair considering you have to shoot and everything, the boat is easy but the smaller ones were harder. You learn how to drive a helicopter (unless you played IV) right there, and even worse, you have to learn how to shoot right after.

i play iv, and still have not completed it because of the helicopter/ul paper missions. i won't let niko answer michelle's phone call even. same for sexy time. we have to do the small boats also?! rockstar are jerks for making flying missions mandatory

How do people have such problems with the helicopter controls, anyways? I'm not trying to mock you or anything, I'm genuinely curious. I never found the helicopter controls to be impossible in GTA4. In fact, anything but.

Agreed. It took me a couple of tries. The smaller boats make it significantly harder!

In the Crosshairs, there was one sniper that was impossible to spot at night, and that's the one you're facing. It took me nearly 10 tries to finally spot that motherf*cker -_-

The rockets of the buzzard are ineffective to destroy small fast-moving targets, especially boats. It's way easier to destroy them with the miniguns.

Also, spamming rockets makes it harder to spot and dodge the rockets fired by the guys on the boats, so it isn't the best thing to try.

The only mission that really 'challenged' me on TBoGT was 'Party's Over'.

It's the only mission in the game that gets my health below 25% lol.


Best mission in TBoGT though is No.3

flying disorients me period. i had to use other peoples' save to beat san andreas cause of mike toreno's idiot vtol/flying missions...

The only actual mission what got me at first was the 2nd part of Blog This ! I just couldn't catch that damn Celebinator
