I see that it attracted some DYOM designers in here. Is it okay if they advertise DYOM there? Does Dutchy & Patrick know about it?

I didn't know, but that's no problem. There are several boards all over the world that have forums dedicated to DYOM.

Been PM'ed and even received an email about this... Went as a guest, copies much from here (DYOM and the rest of GTAForums.) Straightly copied and pasted topics (i.e. The DYOM Missions Index, etc.)

I wouldn't even worry about that forum, it's going to go nowhere. I got offered to be a Globel Mod on there at one stage.

I never have a problem with people creating their own forums to be like the one they are trying to "achieve" or copy, in fact I'm helping Thaboy a bit with his new forum.

The forums did have a lot of DYOM members, and I'm not trying to make accusations, because I don't know the whole story myself, but there were some rumors in the past that the people who were running the the forum do not have the best reputation in GTAF.

I personally do not care about it so much, but logically yes, I don't know how well it is going to do, or how well it has been doing. The problem with me and maybe few others is, each forum is trying to compete for my attention I cannot really divide my attention to all of them at once, especially if the same things are going to be discussed.
