Mate your wrong fonts are just textures you can define/edit fonts text in GXT file |
You're half right. He wants to make his own Czech letters like ť, ů, ž, é, č, ň, ř and the only way to do that is to edit the fonts txd/chk file so that he can add these custom letters to the game. Then (i'm thinking) he'll edit the GXT to translate the text like you said, but he'll need to use those Czech letters like ť, ů, ž, é, č, ň, ř which he added to GTA by editing the fonts txd/chk. @Taxik, there is a way to edit LCS chk texture files, i did it a couple of years ago using Dagerons chk texture extractor to extract the texture and using a hex editor to put the new edited texture back into the chk file. Unfortunatly i can't remember the exact method/steps to do it, however you can google search for dagerons lcs texture editing tutorial: he uses the same method in that tutorial. Edit: I found one. Here is a tutorial on hex editing the chk files.Edit2: I found a better chk texture editing program that is simpler to use. Here is a program that doesn't require hex editing.
