The PS2 version ran on 480p resolution or something. The average PC can run it at much higher resolution. Not to mention, PC version has anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering, better draw distance etc.

There won't be any remake any time soon. It just seemed that you didn't like Xbox version because you compared it to mods:

My point was that the Xbox version is the same as PC but somewhat improved. The atmosphere is still there.

I guess I wouldn't really like to see a remake in a way, because maybe that would make me forget about the old game which I really love mostly for nostalgia reasons. I don't know if they could recreate the atmosphere but still it would be interesting to see how they would pull it off. I guess I would be more interested in a sequel to this game or any from the III series. It would be absolutely awesome if the old characters appeared in V for example.

This is a tad silly. Why give special treatment to the phones but leave out the one port that needs it more. If anything, the PS3 should've received a higher priority.

Not sure what Resolution the X-Box version was, but the PC version is Full HD-Here's proof of that.. For example, the Radar is a lot easier to read/see on PC than it is on PS2-I remember playing on PS2 and having to squint to read the radar, yet on PC it is clear as can be...plus, you can read the street signs and building signs a lot more clearly than on PS2...

However, I am more of a PC gamer than a console gamer..But, do like playing the PS2 and PS3 from time to time...This should be good for people who have a PS3 but do not have a PS2, as PS3 don't have backwards compatibility with PS2 games(I have the Original 80GB model and even that one does not have backwards compatibility)...So, I have my PS2 for PS2 games and PS3 for PS3 games...This is cool news..

Full HD is 1920 by 1080. PC is not full HD by default, it can be any resolution as long as your PC supports it.

this is just BS. The phone got a good port, while a CONSOLE which would sell better, gets a crap port? What? Not buying. Its not worth it. $10 for a litterally 10 year old unchanged game? Im gonna just go to gamestop, and buy it used for $2.99.

Yes, but unless you're willing to play it on PS2, I don't think it will work on PS3.

You guys. Its a PS2 classics port. ALL ps2 classics are totally unchanged in everyway right down to text files. Nothing is different. So there are no trophies, graphics enhancements, new sounds, nothing. Also any game that had online play on ps2 will not be able to take part of online on the ps3 ps2 classic versions of that game. This is exactly the 100% same game we played on PS2, nothings different. I buy PS2 classics on there, so i know what im talking about. Dont expect anything new, changes or trophies. Not gonna happen.[
