I don't think its that easy. Multiple people can have the same name, so unless there was proof that that person is the one who opened the account, that can't work. And you would need his I'D to open an account. You can't just walk in and open an account without them knowing you are who you say you are. So unless he has the persons ID it won't work. And he can't use an ID with somone else's picture.

I was disappointed to see that in GTA 4 Robbing stores for money was removed.


Its difficult to have fun by going around to all the enterable buildings and sticking a gun to someones head. All they do is duck, and ring the alarm. no money or dialogue.. (unless u shoot the register i think)


It also sucked how money trucks served no purpose.


Money trucks should have lots of money in them, and have the most strongest guards in the game.


Banks should be rob-able, even if your not in a mission.

If they aren't, I will be super disappointed and it will be a huge loss of potential.

I don't know about the only being able to carry so much money, I mean realism is good to an extent but that's one of those lines that I think are a bit to much. I still think you should be able to deposit money and have a bank account, so you can avoid the huge fines later in the game. (Which stack up quick when you have a load of cash)

What about having a bank account. Where you can put money on to make it safer so when you die or got busted or robbed, you only lose the money you have on you (In your pocket / wallet) so that when you need money you can go to a bank or ATM to get some money from you account, that would be cool.

You should be able to deposit money from them like in Scarface. They should even have ATMs, too.

as soon as i saw this topic i automatically thought of "The Town" haha especially with the Nun masks haha.

#On topic:
Rockstar should let the Securicars carry cash (like in IV) but be able to rob the cash without having to blow up the truck and have automatically 2-3 stars.. Maybe Fast & Furious style, hire a crew and high jack 18 wheelers full of merchandise. Obviously cops would be looking for the misterious cars that are high jacking big rigs which would also implement on car customization.. Which would also be another mini game, selling robbed goods to gang leaders or pawn shops, or even Drug Cartels (if Mexico is in GTA:V)
This would be very attractive in a game and make it more fun, (IMO)
its all one big chain reaction that (hopefully) would make GTA V a FUN game that wont get boring like previous GTAs

GTA V takes place in a recession era United States. Banks will obviously play a huge, and I mean huge role in the game's storyline. Perhaps we have a bank involved with drug cartels, mafias, and dictatorships (reminiscent of the HSBC failure to stop drug cartel money and Iranian banking). Or, we could have a bank creating fraud to make more money for themselves. That would definitely be reminiscent of the Libor scandal going on in England.

Also, we should be able to rob them.

Well, you could deposit your money and then when you want to make a withdrawal, rob the place. It's the GTA way.

Also, I'm really hoping there are a couple missions where we have to kill some bankers and wall street douches.

I found the Three Leaf Clover mission (the one where you rob the bank) in IV pretty challenging. If they could make it that hard to rob banks outside missions, I'm all for it.

Maybe robbing banks outside missions will be included in the gameplay. and robbing stores and burglaries too will be in it. But I would love to see ATMs, Checking the balance in your account to be included in V.

Like some people are saying, being able to rob banks would add so much replay value. In the game, The Godfather, robbing banks was the biggest reason I played the game so much after I finished it.

You could walk into the bank, scope it out, find out where all of the guards are, and then just start taking them out, blowing up the safe door, taking the money and getting into an awesome car chase with the cops. It would be like the mission in GTAIV but you could do it anytime.

I think it's something that GTA games have lacked in the past and should be added, and I will be very disappointed if it is not.

Three Leaf Clover-like missions outside of storyline missions? Count me in. That'd be a cool co-op mode for multiplayer, too. Like gang hideouts in RDR.

That's why I mentioned the identity theft part in my first quote. Plus, you don't hace to open a new account, just be able to access his current one. People choose easy passwords on their online bank accounts....

The banks should be further expanded from GTA IV. The banks should be part of the storyline as not only it can have a part in heist missions (Such as the jewellery store robbed in trailer) but also be used to store money and maybe be part of illegitimate deals in the underworld economy (Using banks to finance rackets or money laundering).

I think there should be pick pockets and thugs in V. They will attack you in bad parts of town and rob 7% of your money.
