Hey amigos. Since we've got a funny picture thread, and all that swell stuff, why not have a dating thread, where you talk about dating in general? Experiences, how-to's, and so fourth.

I'll start: In my sophomore year of high school, I met a freshman chick through a friend of a friend. I told her to meet me at the school's library during lunch, and we went our ways. Me knowing my past history with girls, I knew for sure I was going to be stood up, but guess what? She was there! We had a wicked cool time hanging out that day, talking about San Andreas and music and what pissed us off. For me, it was Dubstep and Yuppies. For her, it was blacks and jews (she was a neo-nazi). I would've stayed the hell away from her, but she was my first girl buddy, and I didn't want to loose her over something as stupid as that. Eventually, we started making sex jokes, and so fourth, and then we started dating. You know, kissing, hugging, and so on. About a week after we started dating, we got caught doing stuff (let's just leave it at that), and then our folks told us that we couldn't see eachother no more. She then told me of this plan she had to kill her folks so we can be together, and I was all like "Hell no." and broke up with her. Half of me regrets it, seeing as me, being a GTA sperg/techno sperg/model train sperg, most likely won't get another girlfriend for a long time, but the other half of me is patting myself on the back for breaking up with her.

Moral of the story: Be yourself.

I lack dating advice but am skilled in the art of seduction. Was at a party last night and some girl was coming on to me, telling me I have beautiful eyes n kept hugging me. She started pouring out her problems about her relationship when suddenly her boyfriend comes around and says im hitting on her when really im doing nothing. Ended up getting into a fight, he was a big guy so I got thrown onto a table and got baby toys whipped into my face. Blood everywhere.

So whats the lesson? When your out looking for women to befriend, watch the sides. They may carry some heavy emotional baggage or have crazy friends/exes

Also, always surprise her (in a good way). Keeps the relationship healthy

I went on a terrible date once, ice skating, was my first time, and she was a pro, never more embarrassed in my life, still I laughed a lot at myself, and despite my hands bleeding and everything that could go wrong did go wrong like a dr pepper advert, I still got a nice few kisses at the end.

I still can't ice skate for sh*t though.

I had this long-time childhood friend of mine who was my first girl friend.
WE haven't seen each other for a year when I started courting her.
We did SOMETHING even when we're still friends, considering we're very close.
So, she was kind of shocked why I started courting her, there's still the usual teasing between us, though.
We talk about the games I play, about my life(and SEX), and a lot more.

After months of courting her(together with her relative ), I got her at last (" ").
I was really a jerk back then, I felt lonely and stuff. And I was at the age of 13.
I broke up with her because of distance issues and a very small misunderstanding.
Months later, I broke up with her relative too, because of my insecurities with her friend(I thought she was cheating).

I really missed that girl of mine, we both thought it was Destiny w/c brought us together(w/c also separated us ).

I'm currently dating my friends casually, though.

Don't tune/chat-up two girls who are bestfriends, simultaneously, turns out they tell each other exactly what you say to them, then all of your lines seem pretty damn lame when you seem to use them on every girl . That was a retarded mistake I made, reminds me of that "John Tucker Must Die" film, and when I watched that I was thinking how much of an idiot that guy was.

-Be forthright with your intentions, if you want to bang them, be up front about it and don't pretend you're their friend to get close to them just to jump them with 'I love you!' 6-months down the line.
-Just have fun with women, don't be 'funny' but make them have fun. There's a difference.
-Relax and be confident. Take charge.
-Never rest all your hopes on just one girl or put a girl on a pedstal and think they're perfect. They won't be, and neither are you, don't hate them for it.

I was courting this girl in my former school, then my ex's cousin came up to her and talked sh*t about me saying stuff that I'm horny as f*ck, and my only intention towards her is to have sex. dammit! Can't she get a life?
But, we had forgiven each other already.

@Max: Your advices are the best. They are simple and direct to the point.

I've made several mistakes in the past due of the lack of knowledge in that subject, and I am pretty sure I made people very upset with me because of that. Sucks, but with time we learn how to properly behave with someone we like. I'd like to point something out and ratify it:

This is one of the most important things that you said in your post, besides treating women with respect and never putting a girl on a pedestal. It is also the only one that I still struggle to do. I don't know if it is because I used to date the wrong girls or cause I wasn't the right guy for them, but for some reason I was never able to feel 100% confortable beside them, I mean: when one person's interests don't match the other's ones.

What could I do to improve myself in that aspect?

Not necessarily? I've been in a relationship with a girl for a few months, then broke up and got in another relationship, with her best friend. This new girlfriend didn't wanted to tell my ex- anything about it because she knew that she'd break her friend's heart, as my ex- was still loving me that time.

I see guys lacking skills in handling women probably you're losers with them in real life regarding women, no offence.
