Hi there, I'm looking to create a website for an undisclosed project. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, I was just wondering if someone could recommend any tools/software that are easy and relatively cheap to use. I have looked up domain names on Whois yet when I have delved into my purchasing options, it's come up with loads of stuff that I'm not sure whether I need. If someone could give me a run down on how to navigate Whois or any other domain sale sites, that would be greatly appreciated also.

I am looking to construct something in this sort of layout:

Whilst the project is fairly ambitious, I'm not hoping to make anything this complex. I would like to lift similar ideas such as both sites toolbars or searchbars.

If you didnt want to pay too much I can get my best friend to do it for you. He helps make are computer teachers websites and other stuff. If I can ill see if he`ll do a freebie but I highly doubt it.

I`ll see, if I can get any and if I cant my teacher is really good. However he kinda looks like a scam artist to be honest.

Thanks but no thanks. I'd rather learn how to do this myself than give money to someone I don't know in another country to produce something I might not neccesarily like.
