This mod replaces all (even blocked in PC release) tattoo's textures from old 256px to 1024px! In addition shopping.dat, which going to unlock those tatoos.
I was trying to maintain their genuine character, font and position.

What I've done:
Preview, miniatures from interface, when you buy tattoo example
Gallery
Pictures on walls replaced too

To do:

• Equalize hue. <-polishing
• Adjust positions. <-polishing

There is not much to do, but I want to know whether you like it.

For help with your fonts, you could try doing a Google for "Font Identifier' or something similar, I hope that can help ..

Thanks for feedback. After couple of days without any reply I thought about hanging this project if nobody cares, so now I appreciate your good words . I know this mod isn't big retexture project or some sophisticated script, but I'm still trying to do my best.

I didn't know about any search tool for fonts, so that site http://www.identifont.com/ gave me some trace for what I'm looking for. Thx.

No worries bro .. I can't remember the last time I went to get a tattoo .. But I always give props to modders who do great work, whether I use it or not

Maybe after this, create your own tattoos? or carry on and do all of player.img?

Wow this is really great bro. I have no idea why nobody thought of it before. Once I'll be making a HD install of san andreas (since I feel like finally passing it) I'll be sure to install.

I think some fonts from San Andreas have not their analogs so I decided to redraw them

I don't want make own tattoos despite original ones are't much impressive. I just really like add quality to old R* textures.
I think about retexturing whole player.img, but I have to prepare myself . It going to be harder. We will see.

It's not how big your project, I more appreciate the idea as this is probably first tattoo remake made for San Andreas. Great job and I hope you could keep on working CJ's textures!

Ogólnie dobra robota ale niektóre tatuaże są zniekształcone na ciele CJ'a , to przez zły UV maping. Ja robiłem tak zapisywałem CJ z jednym zestawem tatuażu edytowałem textury - Zniekształcałem je zmieniałem trochę ich pozycję. ładowałem grę patrzyłem czy teraz wyglądają dobrze na modelu jak nie to jeszcze raz kombinowałem aż się udało.
Najwięcej problemów z tego co pamiętam było na klatce piersiowej i dolnej części pleców.

Overall a good job but some tattoos are distorted on CJ body . When i did tattos for SA i saved CJ with one set of tattoo edited the textures -i distorted them change their position. I load the game and cheeck if it looks good on a model, if not i did it again.
Most problems from what I remember it was on the chest and lower back.

I know that, but first I want to make textures and after that I will fix shapes, positions and hue. I mentioned about it in first post .
