I wanted to test this out and just as I suspected, there is no limit other than the limit of the number designed to display it. The game has established a signed 32-bit integer to contain your cash. This means the upper limit is 2 billion 147 million 483 thousand and 647 dollars. ($2,147,483,647) If you gain ONE more dollar, the value truncates and becomes NEGATIVE $2,147,483,648. Being a negative number, as you gain more cash, the numeral will get smaller while the minus out front remains.
So I say that there is no limit because no amount will make the game grash or the number remain stationary. It just will lose it's ability to display properly just over 2 billion.
