First of all, this is in the wrong section. You should have posted it in gaming chat. Secondly, if our so interested in the game, read some reviews or something. I doubt anyone on here has it.

I've downloaded the demo as I enjoyed playing the first part with my younger brother a while ago, I didn't have a chance to play it yet. These lego games can be pretty fun. Better than playing the same sorts of games all the time.
Lego games can easily be considered childish, it doesn't mean all of them are marked 16- though. Adults can enjoy them as well.
Give the demo a try.

I don't know how they do it, but the lego games always seem to be so good. The worlds are always true to the franchise, and the games are an absolute blast to play.

Was going through some reviews of Lego Batman 2 earlier:

QUOTE (Official Xbox Magazine UK)
Trimming off dead-weight as often as it adds something new, this is the strongest LEGO game yet.

^ Rated it an 9.0/10

QUOTE (Official Xbox Magazine)
Despite a few fresh ideas, Lego Batman 2 is, creatively, the weakest game in the Lego franchise.

^ Rated it an 6.0/10

I have tryed demo's of lego games, Indy, star Wars, harry potter, they're all the same to me, side scrolling collecting bits and generally doing nothing. Lego games are not for me.

Minecraft on the other hand, which is what a lego game should be like, is awesome.

I've only played the Wii version. It's okay. I don't think they fully utilize the variety of character powers. Such as the Green Lantern, who creates constructs out of green Lego blocks lying around. And the Flash who really only runs fast, and has no real purpose other than to unlock a couple villains because he's the only one who can build certain batcomputers fast enough. You only really get to play as Batman and Robin through half the story, and then you get Superman to play around with for about a third, and then at the end you finally get to play as other Justice League Characters. When I got done with the main story, I found little motivation to play the game to 100%, at least in the open world, since most of the collectibles and side missions are not challenging at all. The free play levels are on par with other Lego games, you get new characters so you can get new collectibles and mini-kits. It feels like the pieces are there for a game on par with the Lego Star Wars games, but it's like they're just thrown together using the picture on the box, instead of using the instructions. And we all know when that happens, you have extra pieces that don't quite fit. (Is that not the greatest Lego analogy every?)

It's fun for a rental, but I wouldn't buy it for $50.

EDIT: and the game crashes regularly. Granted my sister and I have been playing an obscene amount of the game, it sometimes crashes after only a few minutes.
