ok, so un-modded gta sa works fine, I install Knight Rider Old School V0.4b, and when I click new game,once its finished, the game closes, and my screen turns pink (note, that I have not tried compatibility mod or anything of the sort, and id rather not try something that may or may not work, as im tired of restarting my computer to fix the pink screen

ok, ive tried compatibility modes, nothing works, in fact, when I activate compatibility mode, the game wont even launch, it just crashes instantly

Please don't bump your topics just after a few hours. People aren't here 24/7 to help you, they have their own lives, too. I say carry on with yours first, and wait for someone to answer. You can only bump the topic once 3 days have passed, and yet no one answered. And also, don't double, triple or even quad post, bumping would be an exception. Best way to fix it is to uninstall the mod, since it's pretty unstable.

well, the thing is, is that now it happens even without any mods installed

Try re-installing the game,unless you have a backup.

i have tried re-installing the game, AND removing the whole entire folder afterwards, the game still pink screens me after exiting without mods, and it doesnt even get past the save loading screen with mods

Eh .. get Windows 7 then.

Did you tried a newer/older/windows default video driver?... aero may cause some glitches so, try disabling it when you play
