I'm trying to beat this mission for thousand of times! but i cnnt! anyone can gimme useful tip that can past this mission easily?

Focus on the road. Cops will try to chase you down so try to avoid them as much as possible. Also, don't crash into the other opponent, otherwise it might end worse for you than for him. But trying to make him spin off the road could work well as long as you know how to do it correctly and safely. Remember to break on the corners and never try to cut any corner too much. These are all the tips I know, so I hope they'll work for you.

Otherwise, just post in this topic your save file and someone will be able to pass it for you.

if you are not able to do this, try to remain ahead or just behind him until the last 2-3 checkpoints, then cut the road (as you can see in the same video, 2:43)... with this trick i was able to easily pass Hillary.

Anyways, I did this mission again today just because you asked help for it. I spinned off 2 times (one of those times a cop car was blocking my way so I had to back up a little bit) and I still finished with 2:07 and beat the mission easily.

I never have had such a situation like I had today. When I got the 2 star wanted level, a cop car showed up ahead. Hillary passed it from the right, so I got in the lead just thanks to the fact that I passed the copper from the left. Some seconds passed by and then a cop car approaching from a road from the right, crashed into Hillary, making him spin. I got an advantage, but when taking the turn right, to face the road to Pole´s club, a VCPD Cruiser ran into me in such a way that I couldn´t get away, so I had ro reverse the car and then continue. By this time, Hillary ofc had passed me, but not by that much time. Somewhere near Cortez´s Marina I already passed him and now comes the tricky part that most of us tend to forget: When passing the Washington Beach Mall from one side and preparing for a turn to the right (when taking the left turn, you´ll find yourself on the South Bridge, heading to southern Little Havana), two cop cars will crash into each other. Mostly people tend to drive at that lane, where the crash will exactly take place. I forgot about the upcoming crash and directly crashed into them - that spinned me off the road for the second time this race, but by a short head I still managed to hold on to my leading position. Else and most of the mission generally is trying to avoid contact with the VCPD cruisers and IF you have a good position, then certainly try and spin Hillary. Smashing into the Sabre Turbos trunk is pointess, cause it most certainly wont spin Hillary off the road. And as said already: use the sneaky shortcut in the final curve of the race. No need to desperately want to pick up the bribe, cause the race is almost over!

With those players, who aren´t as good drivers as some are, then it is quite likely that you might have such a tight finish that taking the shortcut will give you the leading position for the first time of the race and thanks to that you might win. I remember my first tries beating this mission. A couple of times I failed, but the successful time it truely was so, that I took the shortcut and because Hillary always takes the longer trajectory, I won.

*Dont panic!
*Avoid VCPD Cruisers
*If possible, try to spin Hillary´s car
*When being spinned out, don´t give up and just continue on, because Hillary will definitely crash in some places!
*Be aware of the VCPD Cruisers crash next to the Washington Beach Mall
*Always use the shortcut in the end. Even when Hillary is still cruising in who-knows-where. It will save you some seconds, that in some cases might save the mission for you.

i wanna learn how to take sharp-turn in this game...like drifting of something, but i always get too much...i always crash when i try to drift, can someone teach me how? (pc control) but i want i wont slow down after drifting and thanks if someone teach me

You don't need to drift. Remember that the opponent is very good, and if it wasn't the cop cars who usually drive him off the road you wouldn't really stand a chance, without trying to spin him off the road yourself. Just stop drifting, focus on the road, and don't try to cut corners too much, otherwise you might crash into something. If you don't know how to spin him off the road, either just don't do it, or just try to follow my advice: get with your right-forward part of the vehicle and his left-behind part of his vehicle and just turn right, but just a little. This is also called the PIT (Precision Immobilization Technique & others). Good luck.

I have heared about an easier method than all these, but I haven't tested it yet -before entering the Malibu, park a vehicle (Stretch recommended) at where the race starts so it blocks the road and wait a little until any car stops there. Then, go to the Malibu and start the mission. The vehicle you parked, will still be there, and Hilary will be too dumb to drive around it.
As I already mentioned, I'm not sure if it works. (It may depend on what version of VC you have)

Any long vehicle works...although he WILL get around that obstacle eventually. If you want him out of the race permanently (without cheating), slam his car from his driver side as you pass the grassy spot near Ken's office. Hillary should shoot up the Washington Mall carpark ramp and get trapped there for the duration of the mission...the AI isn't clever enough to drive back down the ramp if he reaches the second level.

The easiest way of beating the race that I know of is to park a PCJ overlapping the outfit change icon at Raphael's (where you got the suit in Ken's first mission) before heading to the club on foot to begin the mission. This late in the game you should be pretty good at weaving through random traffic on a motorcycle...and the overlapping icon removes the wanted level and gives you temporary crash prevention to boot (i.e. bike morphing).

Just park the bike or any fast vehicle near the first stop light (just south of the Malibu)-- it will be there and you can swap earlier..... with the hotring racer I will usually pass him easily before I get to the pole position club and win easily.

My first time through the game I read of a way that worked..... go on a killing spree in the malibu til you get to 3 stars..... then start the mission. Your wanted level will continue into the mission and the police will laydown road spikes that you can drive around but Hillary won't--- if you survive the cops for the race you will win.... it took me about 6 minutes and 3 seperate vehicles to finish the race when I did this the first time 9 years ago.... but I did pass it and never saw Hillary after the first block or two of the race.

I don't know what all the fuzz is about really, the Sentinel that you are in actually has a higher top speed than Hilary does (for some reason) and there are quite a lot of long straights in the race. If you can avoid the few cops that come at you, you're golden.

Also, on the PC version, Evidently there is a glitch on Windows XP, that was fixed on Vista and 7, as when I played this mission on my XP Home PC, I used to automatically fail this mission, cause in the middle of the race, I always got the message I was in first place, but when I crossed the finish line, it pretty much always said "Mission Failed-Hillary is dead.."-or something along those lines...I take it this is an XP thing, as this has never happened on my Vista or 7 PC's? -to be more specific, it is Problem 1 in the Pinned topic by Justin:

Admittedly there has been quite a while since I changed over from XP to 7, but I can't remember that ever happening to me.
