So many cars unobtainable in free roam just why Rockstar?

I'd stick with lag then. I'm used to it on my crap PC while playing SAMP.
There's more vehicles than that XD: PCJ, Zombie, Hellfury, Boxville, Prisoner Transport Enforcer, Landstalker, Huntley Sport, Faction, Helitours Maverick, and some DLC vehicles.

| QUOTE (illegal_luggage @ Saturday, Jun 9 2012, 20:53) | Even after four years since release, I still play online free roam quite often. I play it both on the 360 and PC and have a great experience on both, but there is one annoying issue which makes online become boring quicker. It is GTA IV's limited set of vehicles in multiplayer free roam. These following cars cannot be found in traffic or parked places. The traffic in free roam is very limited and is easy to see when going from SP to MP.
Just look at these images which shows all the cars that can't be found in free roam. Only way to get these is through mods or a trainer which is prohibited on the consoles. I just wish Rockstar at least implemented a garage or something where you can get any vehicle you like whether it's earned by money collected or what.

Rockstar could patch the game but I doubt they'll do it now. What annoys me the most though is that they even limited the PC version which should have no issue with more diverse traffic.
Does anyone else notice this or don't you really give a crap? | When something is shown on your screen, it eats up some of your Streaming Memory. While in the Single Player, the Stream Memory can get maxed out slowly, but it will dump itself out when it becomes full. In Multiplayer, there are multiple packets that are coming from the other players. Most of the packets are based around the carnage that they are in at the moment. If you are near a gun fight between two players, your stream mem stores the particles, textures, and models into the temp. Don't blame Rockstar, blame the companies who made your console. The hardware limitations on Consoles are pathetic.

| QUOTE (ZombLee @ Wednesday, Jun 20 2012, 05:55) | The problem with having a lot of different cars is showing them on the screen at the same time. That's why in singleplayer there tends to be the same cars everywhere (like the one you're driving at the time). |
But It's very different in Multiplayer. Every game hour the cars in the traffic change no matter what you drive. If you get your car destroyed, have fun waiting. They could have done this for singleplayer. You can already have 16 different vehicles at once. One gets Freeway, the other guy an NRG, then Faggio, Police Car, Cavalcade, Coquette, Banshee, Dukes, Stallion and so on. There are tons of vehicles available yet some left out. Doesn't make sense. http://gta.wikia.com/Multiplayer_Vehicles_in_GTA_IV This post has been edited by DarkKingBernard on Thursday, Oct 4 2012, 15:28
