Having played Max Payne 3, and sampled the use of Social Club Crews, I feel that the imagination for expansion of the feature is massive. I find that Crews have made the mutliplayer world that bit friendlier as I have been requesting back up from players not on my friends list. I try not to over hype games for myself, but knowing for sure this feature is in GTAV, the possibilies are nigh on endless. So how would you all further integrate Social Club Crews guys?

Well I have Maz Paybe 3 as well. Also have my own crew. But I see no point in having crews if u cant do crew vs crew online matches. Whats the point? As of right now. Crews are there just to say yay im n a crew with my friends. Cool even though we cant actually do anything with them. Would ve better if Rockstar actually had crew leaderboards in which your crew is ranked in terms of win/loss record.

For example. Would u rather make a crew and play regular online games with your crew memvers that has no affect on the crew besides eeing your crew clab tag? only thing different from crews vs non crew players is that u have a clan tag and logo on clothes.

Or would u rather it mean something like actual crew matches

U go online click cree matches. Inv ur crew members. Then start up lets say crew TDM. Puts your crew in a match vs another crew. Resulting in a win or loss towards your crew record. That way u can get your crew ranked on the leaderboard.

You can say "My crew is ranked 25 in the world on xbox in MP3 or GTAV" it means sonething not like
"hey I have a crew on MP3 n GTAV that means aboslutly nothing" get my poibt. I was expecting crews to mean something. Add Crew vs crew matches with leadervoards.

I feel that it has added a team play element to the game, in the form of progressing up leaderboards and the extra points available for working as a crew. But like you put, I understand that the crew feature could better be expanded in Max Payne, and further down the line in GTAIV, hence the topic it hand

I agree that Crews shuold be a good thing for Multiplayer in several ways, including the continuity of crews across different games. We will have to see how they evolve.

Slightly off-topic: I have been watching the Rockstar MP3 multiplayer live streaming (http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/multiplayer-events/index.html) and it suddenly popped into my mind, "Hey this is almost as good as Unreal Tournament in 1999." -- run-and-gun in a single-scene map. Hmmmm

I was young when Unreal Tournament first came out but I do remember playing it against bots on mostly the same map over and over, which was two forts seperated by a hill with lava running below. I also remember having great fun with the Redeemer, but I wish I had enjoyed it online in its heyday. But it was a blast with bots all the same
