[...]You probably have not finished the game and just randomly stumbled upon that cutscene and have no real idea why it happens.[...]Flying school was just there to teach you how to fly and the only reason anyone would bitch about it is because they just suck at flying[...]

Nice. Real classy.

You appear to take this very personally, though I can't really see why.

My point was, that SA could have had an actually good story with just a couple of changes and a little less padding and pandering.

I think CJ needed to be rich and when he returned to Los Santos he would have wished to be a powerful man wink.gif

STOP PROTECTING THAT DAMN GAME!! YOU'RE ONLY GUESSING THINGS! Carl only came to LS to bury his mom. In NO way did he ever say he wanted to be rich, he only said that he wanted to stay to help the gang.

Well look, another.OK,take Niko for example. He traveled to LC to get rid of his past, and Bulgarin(of course!),but he failed. And what did he do??Work. For what?FOR MONEY.So that's basically the same as CJ.
CJ didn't work with "normal" humans. But neither did Niko. The only normal human I have ever seen in GTA(my opinion) was Donald Love.
And ZoomZoom is right.I don't want to defend him(he can do that himself) but didn't Carl tell Sweet "let's get you some clothes man".Only people with lots of money say that(most of the time). He also argued with Sweet that he needed to check other things("commitments") he made.
ALSO,let's not forget that CJ never wanted to go back to the hood after Sweet was free.

Niko never came to LC for money, he came because he wanted to find Florian, but he used Roman as an excuse to find him. Niko didn't need the money, Roman did. After his depot was burned down, they needed it, sorta.

And Donald Love was a cannibal. tounge.gif I think the only normal person in GTA is Llena Faustin, Mikhail's wife.

Sad part is, you have to 'guess' about CJ's background.

I never had to guess his background, i knew most of his background after i did the first few missions.

Obviously, you just skipped the scenes and never understood the storyline.

I meant normal as in a GTA perspective.
But anyways, you just said it,the needed the money after their depot was burned down. And that's early in the game.

No, I'm not. I wasn't only referring to the post I quoted though, also your previous post, which was a reply to me.

Er...

What? During the beginning of GTA SA, all it was about was CJ's mother and CJ getting use to the Grove Street way, meeting the characters from his past. I don't really know if you've ever played GTA SA, but if you haven't, that's usually what I get from the beginning. If you see the inner meaning of chasing a train with a fat black guy and saving Sweet's girlfriend, please elaborate.

So you mean that SA is also sh*t because it has pointless missions? That makes no sense.

I will make you understand. They followed the train to crash the meeting between the Vagos and San Fierro Rifa. He saved Sweet's girlfriend AND Sweet because he called and asked help from CJ. turn.gif

And crashing the train was also a drug related favor for Tenpenny as he was seen talking to Smoke when Carl arrived. Smoke's missions were highly suspicious and completely unrelated to what Carl wanted to do and the Grove Street. He was on some other sh*t from the get go.
