So I recently purchased GTA IV for the pc and I tried playing but it was very laggy for some reason so I adjusted the settings and it was still laggy until i had put everything on low quality. I find this very weird because I have a good pc and it can easily run other games on high settings.
If you are wondering which PC I have it is the HP PAVILION H8-1200EB.

I would appreciate any help and sorry for my bad English colgate.gif

Try using memrestrict. Do you have any mods installed?

HD 7570 is not he best choice for GTAIV, but it should run decently on med, especially with an i7 backing it up.

I suggest you uninstall all mods and do a fresh install of the game. Mods are known to mess up the game, and if lagging already took place before them, mods could only have made it worse. Try again without any mods and see if it works. If it still doesn't, try installing the GTA IV Patch 1.0.4.0.
