What i'll like to see is the next GTA game take place in Las Venturas during the 60's or 70's when the mafia's involvement there was at its peak. Any ideas with that setting?? characters? missions? etc

If your talking about GTA 6..... can you just wait for GTA V to come out first..

Why not? The 70's were the most exciting times to be alive, great music, great cars, great everything! A 70's GTA would be about drugs though.

What's up people's asses about not wanting to talk about GTA6? I get it, V is not out yet, but what's so different? In both cases, we are all just speculating. I love discussing the future, so...

My only concern is that Las Vegas isn't big enough or 'GTAish' enough to have a whole GTA game dedicated to it. I hope GTA6 takes place in Toronto.

The best time to talk about GTA 6 is when GTAForums decides to add a GTA 6 thread. Talking about GTA 6 in the GTA V thread is off-topic, IMO.

I agree with the second part about this being in the wrong area. This thread needs to be moved to the GTA Series chat. But still, it is never too early to discuss something.

The "50" were sex,drugs and rock but it doesnt fit the gta setting.

Same with the "70" it doesnt feel like a gta feeling BUT i hope that mafia get that setting, that would be cool.

No, the 50's were hot rodding, drag racing, romance and rock and roll. You can tell just by listening to the music made then, they NEVER sang about sex and drugs, it wasn't until the late 60's that all started. Even watching old movies and movies based then, watch American Graffiti and Happy Days. The 50's were about cruising the streets with a girl by your side. American Graffiti would be the equivalent to Superbad, you can see how much movies have changed since 1973.

That won't fit in a GTA game at all.

A 60's/70's game about the Mafia would actually be good, because this is when the mobs started killing each other. (Watch GoodFellas, can't be bothered typing sh*t). But leave Mafia games to 2K Czech.

If Rockstar made a 70's GTA they could base it off someone who gets back from Vietnam and gets into the life of crime, gets stabbed in the back, ends up in jail, gets out in 1977 and you can control him in that year. (1977 is the year the movie "Grand Theft Auto" was released, starring Ron Howard). They have to base at least one GTA game in that year, it would be wrong not to!

I'd like to see them take on a new country. America is pretty diverse, we have most any kind of climate and environment you can think of and we have an abundant source of large cities. I think it would be nice if the R* brand of satire was aimed in a new direction. London would be great or thanks to MP3 I'd really be into a Brazilian/anything South American, theme. Asia has a rich diversity of crime and environments, and Russia would be pretty cool too. Anything but America. But if it has to be America, I'd like to see them tackle the Midwest just so I can see something not overplayed in games, movies and music.

My bad about posting it in the wrong forum, but sh*t people here are narrow minded, they all whine about waiting for GTA V to come out first. Can't we just imagine? Anyway if 1986 has the GTA feel then so can the 1970's or even the 1960's, Rockstar can make it possible, Vice City took influence from Scarface this can take influence from Casino. And to the user who stated that Las Venturas isn't to big enough, well so wasn't Los Santos and look what they're doing with it, with Las Venturas we can see the surrounding deserts as well with the abandoned air field etc, it's not the same cannon as San Andreas anyway.
