I've been playing GTA 4 since 2008 and online has always been great, the mayhem and fun is just unrivaled.
I recently started playing GTA 4 this week after not playing it for a few months. And the first free roam I entered was a modded game with various different mods. I was surprised, but it was fun and I was sad when I left because I thought it was such a rarity.
But over the past week, I've been in over 6 hacked games.
The hackers would have unique character models, their characters could also dance. There was people driving the skeleton of the dinosaurs from the museum. Their characters could run as fast as an Infernus at full speed. All their cars were indestructible and shot rocket launchers from it. There was weird ramps placed around the airport. One modder even spawned the tugboat on the runway, as well as spawning a pedestrian riot cheat.
I find this weird, because before this week I had played over 500 free roam games and never got into a modded game before.
And now I come back and within 30 free roam games, I've been in 6 modded games.
Anyone know why there has been such an increase in modder on the PS3 and has anyone else noticed this?
