Back when I was 9 and I played this game, I thought Maria was Salvatore's daughter, as at the time, I didn't know that 'Girl' also meant wife, as well as the fact there was at least 30 years of a difference between them. (I also didn't know about all these corrupt 'all for money' relationships either)

It wasn't till I played SA when Salvatore and Maria are flirting in the mission 'Saint Mark's Bistro' when I found out the truth, this was confirmed further when I played LCS.

@Michael5074 - HAHAHA I never thought of it that way. In all fairness, she seems more like a wife in III because in LCS she lives in her own apartment away from Sal.
