I picked up the VC and the VCS Bobcat simultaneously in 3ds max and started to put some details of the VCS Bobcat on VC and this is how it turned out:

Still need to fix:
Door textures (it's untextured)
Front window (can't make it transparent even with alpha in texture, need help)

To finish model:
Convert the rest of damage models, still using some of VC.
Add some cool VCS Wheels
Edit sound to Idaho sound

-------------------------- || ---------------------------------
Textures/Models are all from ps2 version of VCS. The model may not look so cool in original VC than it's in VCS but it's the same model and textures.

Not to shoot you down or anything, but why bother try and convert the VCS Bobcat to VC, there was no big change to the Vehicle or anything special.

Is there a real point, or goal you want to achieve?
Perhaps convert all VCS Vehicles or Something?

There was:
Different damage models
Different windows (VCS are blue)

and besides, I like the VCS vehicle a lot (I remember liking it when in my PS2, when I still had it)

However, I plan to convert some more vehicles from the ps2 game smile.gif

Windows and Damage are not a real big thing (& the Kinda 3D Engine), I liked the new Vehicles added to the Stories Games, but apart from that the original ones were not that exciting, I didnt mind the Stories Wheels though, I have the Vehicles from the Stories Games, but I dont have the Wheel Files otherwise I would have already converted them.

Perhaps I might have the VCS Wheels, But I dont know the Filename, Hmm, I will have to look into them.

Thanks.

But: How can I make the front window transparent? Even alpha don't solve my problem!

If you using 3DS max open the Material Editor and select the window material then just adjust the Alpha Level and you should begin to see it turn transparent.

I can't adjust alpha level!

Also: In a part of the vehicle, how can I use the dirt texture AND add a carcolor?

No, Open the Material Editor, (Press M), then use the Eyedropper to select the Material, and well the rest is simple.
