and take note that this is on 2007. the game its now finished and looks amazing i dont play it anymore but its a good example to ignorants like you, who thinks that consoles dont have potential to do amazing things. you have been brainwashed, the consoles can do alot specially if we talk about PS3 and his exclusives. | Wow, looks amazing. i was merely asking a question, I wasn't being ignorant, but if R* are able to use this or create an engine it would look amazing. If I recall correctly, didn't Far Cry have body damage on animals (1 or 2)? Also when you were shot you'd see the guy take an aspirin and cut the bullet out of his skin.

Farcry 2 you would only take pills for your characters ever too often malaria fits. He would do other animations like pull the bullet out of his arms when severely injured.

I can't remember which Farcry, but could you see the actual wounds when you were shot? The only problem is if you're shot in the arm the player would need to hold it and it would almost be impossible to complete missions which require killing mobs of people.

| QUOTE (cp1dell @ Friday, Jul 20 2012, 21:44) | | I loved that in Red Dead Redemption, actually shooting someone in the knees stopped them from walking - and a lethal shot to the stomach made them crawl around. I really hope they have improved on this in GTA V. Didn't see too much of this in Max Payne 3, most likely because you just run and gun. No time to really "play" with the enemies. | You'd also get that limp from them if you dragged them from behind your horse with the lasso. Often I'd do that with the shop robbers and sometimes I'd go run after them, drag them into town, then let them go and run off a bit before shooting them or going back and tying up to take back to Herbert Moon or whoever. You can have that with NPCs but what about your own character? Maybe you're not going to have your arms blown off, but what if an arm injury, say, prevented you from using some or all melee weapons or guns that require both hands? You could have a first aid kit or some other item in your inventory that heals an injury, or it does on its own in time. Maybe a fall from a high place could break a leg or an ankle and your mobility becomes impaired. You can't sprint and you walk more slowly.
