I've recently added GTA 3 to my collection(yes, I know it's over 10 years old, but I like it), unlocked the entire map and almost mastered the Dodo plane. Now I can keep it airborne indefinitely.
The problem is: because the plane continuously drops and soars, I can't fly it as high as I want; when I fly it above land I'm likely to collide with a hill, building, tree, pole etc.. I've heard that the it's possible reach the rooftops of skyscrapers with it(as there is no ceiling height limit in GTA 3). Can anyone tell me how to do that?

With great difficulty. It's been a while since I've played 3, but I know it takes a series of forced dives at the right time to get it to pull up just enough at just the right point.

I find it easier to get to rooftops with the tank shooting backwards with flying cars turned on.

the only way I've seen people get the dodo up really high is to spin it in a loop. Its not easy but you can get it up to donald loves roof if you really want.

I didn't know that. I thought the plane was coded to go up to a certain altitude and people modified the game so that it would fly higher.

The Problem is the big drops it does and as stated before its best to go in circles to gain height. You also need to have an idea of where you are going because most skyscrapers in fact most buildings are not solid so landing on them is a big risk

Seems like a lot of effort to go to just to get to Kenji's rooftop.

I just turn on gliding vehicles and jumping vehicles, drive along the road, jump and glide onto the side of the building, and drive up and in.

Not really, there is a straight road that leads straight to it as a take-off strip, you don't even need to take off from the airstrip in SSV.

I have recently become quite good at lying the Dodo, just the other month I reached the Ghost Town behind the dam for my first time. I have a record of roughly 150 seconds.

to fly it doesn't go very high, but you can have Claude fly a helicopter to any
of them and they're all solid. The Police Maverick is available behind the

Yeah thats quite a bit off topic to talk about a mod for a different game....

Anyway Flying The Dodo just takes practice as I have realised over the last few weeks. I'd try and set off the ground on a road. Not an Airstrip. Then just circle the building until you get to the top
