First of all I want to explain why I felt the need to create this topic. I have been playing San Andreas basically since it came out in the PC version but it was only at 2010 that I have been exploring this amazing game on most of his free-roaming capabilities. And for that I want to say thanks to all contributors of this forum that have somehow shown all of us how to do something in the game.
I've actually done my own mastersaves in all 3rd generation GTAs but San Andreas is by far my favourite game regarding the gameplay, I love the 80's ambiente on Vice City and of course I love the graphics on GTA IV but none of this have provided me the fun that is playing GTA San Andreas.
Now the real reason for the creation of this topic is that this is actually my 5th 6th attempt on creating a "Mastersave" game in San Andreas, mostly for the fun part but also because I've encountered more and more challenges along the way, making me redo all over again so that I could accomplish all this challenges that were discovered. Well on my first attempt basically I did all 13,37% that is mandatory for calling a save "mastersave" and then saw a few videos on how to acomplish other things that I though to be impossible, like doing all stunt jumps and acquiring some rare vehicles. Then I did all this and found out that you could acquire by a "backway" michelle's racing outfit and at the same time found out that since i did the taxi missions for last that i had a game glitch that only a fix would resolve so I decided to do it again and every time saying this would be the last time. Then finally I did all of the above and when I was already almost on the second city missions I found a way to get the hydra, and someone said it would be possible to do it in mastersave, so now "for the last time" on PC (already started doing for PS3) I did it what a this moment i believe it's possible to accomplish in a mastersave (sorry I'm getting ahead of myself, I still haven't finish getting King of San Andreas criminal rating but it's really only a matter of time) .
So doing this topic is my way to contribute to the forums putitng in one place all the info I've been acquiring over the years.

THE LIST OF THINGS TO DO:
0. Usefull Info
There are a couple of things you should know before starting a mastersave.
First of all you can only name it a mastersave if you don't start the first mission "Big Smoke", so after Tenpenny drops you off in the ballas country just ignore what the game is telling you and start getting money to buy a safehouse (killing drug dealers is for me the best choice at this point, but also doing some sidemission will do the trick).
Now there are a couple of glitches you may want to avoid, the taxi glitch (just avoid flying or sailing off the map borders), the gym glitch (which has recently discovered by OrionSR to be caused by exceeding the time on the gym, so just never excedd that time), and the most important the mafia call glitch (just avoid owing money to the casinos in Las Venturas early in the game or you won't be able to finish the story-missions).
Another thing that you should avoid is doing the oyster exploit too early in the mastersave, that way you won't loose progres with your girlfriends when you are achieving other items on certain areas even areas that are not locked and you will be able to keep their progress =>43%. Just gather 49 oyster at any time and leave the last oyster for last. ###edited in 08-05-2013###

1. Buying a property to save a game before the first mission (Getting Money)
1.1 Stealing from Drug Dealers Video

1.3 Stealing the Strippers (It isn't hard at all, just stand in front of the stripper, little tip though don't touch her or you'll get it from the security)

2. Taxi Fares

This side mission should be the first thing to do in a mastersave because there is a glitch attached to it (at least in PC platforms), which prevents the completion of the same mission.
If you for some reason travel beyond the boundaries of the game to get for example flying skill you may start the taxi mission but no fares will appear in the map when doing it, this can be fixed through the use of a tool, but to avoid this just finish it before all other things.

5. Make your own challenge
I call this make your own because anyone can give ideas on how to increase the difficulty of doing this kind of a save
5.1 - The "Groove Street..." audio untouched
Staying far from Cj's house and of Groove street so that when you finnish doing the master save you can go there and hear Cj saying "Groove Street! Home! At least it was until I f**ked everything up".
5.2 - No bullets missed
Doing the Mastersave without missing a bullet and I'm not saying to have the hit bullets stats equal or above I'm talking about not missing one bullet of course, forgeting the bullets missed when doing a drive-by or in a bike shooting or even with the seasparrow, those are too hard too control, but bullets fired by guns, machineguns and shotguns which you can easily control (be carefull with the sniper sometimes a hiting bullet counts as a not hiting bullet and also with the minigun you'll probably increase rapidly the amount of missing bullets). The hardest part is to acomplish hitman level in all weapons like this.
5.3 - No Paint and Spray
Try to not use the paint and spray to fix cars (like the taxi fares missions) or for loosing cops.
5.4 - Trying to keep minimal skills
Trying to not change your skill at all while doing so, hard to do if you want to get oyster other stuff
5.5 - Minimal Kill challenges
Hard to get the max respect without killing people

6. Tricks and Exploits
First of all I can't really tell someone if it should use this methods or not, it's just easier ways to do some stuff. If you want to get the real challenge then you shouldn't use them, but I leave that for everyones conscience. This are not cheats at all, there are some that are controversial but, if we think better, some tricks do tend to use some exploits, for example the undrowning glitch it could be considered an exploit, you're using an error in the game to be able to do something that in other ways would be difficult, not to say impossible. I'm not here to judge people choices, but trying to give them those choices. So please do not make this item a motive to start an argument.
6.1 - The Underwater glitch
This glitches can be found all around San Andreas, they are spots underwater where you can dive and reaching those spots will make you walk, drive or fly underwater.
6.2 - Replay for Reaching "KOSA"
This is a method found by Квашец that allows you to more easily increase your criminal rating.

6.3 - No timing in some time based missions
This is a method by wich you can without cheats, trainers or mods disable timers in some missions like the NRG500 challenge
6.4 - The Vigilante glitch
This is a method used during the vigilante missions where entering some food places will allow you to pass some vigilante levels without having to kill yourself the suspects.
6.5 - Safe Places
These are all the spots where you can have a wanted level and yet for some reason cops won't kill you as much. For example under the highway in San Fierro wich will allow you to tow or push some vehicles like the hydra and the rustler.
6.6 - Sexappeal glitch
If you put on and off the white top CJ wears at the beginning until you reach a maximum 50% sexappeal (the other 50% are determined by the vehicle you drive)

Good stuff starting this up again, my PS3 has broken down so im replaying the GTA games one last time before I put them away for good. I feel games in this generation don't offer the amount of replayablilty that games from this generation had, but maybe thats just me getting old and not really getting used to the new stuff. The problem I can see with this topic is that a lot of us who were enthusiastic about growing this save file have sort of moved on, most of this stuff has all been covered.

Anywho, for improvements you could add the skimmer to the very rare list, but also maybe give a different value rating to what you should store. For instance, cars that are in fixed parked locations on the map such as the dune arent as valueable as say a tourismo that rarely spawns in LV, whats the difference between the LV impound lot storing a fixed car location and the stadium in LV storing the Dune? Its that sense of ownership I suppose, but they are both equally accessible.

If you want to enjoy this new save file, dont think about things that you can own or things relative to your stats, but think about how you will be playing the game, what rules and what methods you are using to get what you want. From experience, coming up with methods to get what we want on these list is what made the save file so fun to make.

Now you might also want to talk about what order you should do things a bit more when it comes to GF vehicles. Stuff like leveling up gun stats and other progression goals dont really need to be considered, but the whole GF process is something that cannot be turned back.

Personally, if you look at the save file as a stopping point, that you will never progress past the Big Smoke mission, then things have certain value, that is your GFs progress actually means something. However if you look at this as a simple rule, that you gotta do all this stuff FIRST before doing Big Smoke, then things like GF progress and even the audio really arent that big of a deal because if you lose a GF, you can always get it back.

I think im getting ahead of myself, but if you want to talk about a perfect master save file, then you gotta define what the save file actually is, is it a fixed file that you will never grow past the first mission, or is it an activity that you are doing for fun? If its the latter, I might suggest something slightly different.

What I might do next time I play GTA SA is do a master save file up to the Green Sabre. this way you can pretty much do the exact same things you would do before, but you can enjoy the missions as well so collecting those special vehicles and doing gang wars sort of makes the project bigger and gives you more freedom. Also with all these new gang war glitches we have recently discovered, you could do stuff like try put gangs over seas.

This is just to have a basic template on what to talk about about the order of the things to do I'll try to go beyond a list of things and have a little explanation on what and when to do that, much like the info on the taxi glitch.
The save game I have will never be perfect if that's even possible and the topic is more about things you should do before others, but like lil weasel posted a master save it's basically only the mandatory things explained in the list, things that will affect your stats percentage without doing the 1st mission. All other things are only optional it's not about having a rule on how to do it, it's only about the challenge to do them at that point. I can easily have all this list of vehicles in a later time in the game, but the fun part is to get them before you should like the hydra or the rustler, or even the rare turismo.
Thanks for the more explanatory definition of master save I will have that in mind and I only use cheats to test ideas or pratice certain things the final versions are all CHEATS, MODDS and TRAINERS Free. In that case I will have to remove the Black Perennial and UC2 Dark Purple Voodoo.

Yeah I know what you guys mean by a master save file, I was just trying to think of a new way of going about DOING the master save file, not what has to be collected, sorry if thats a little off topic.

Anyway about the beagle, does it fit in the Sf impound? Also you could try land it next to the broadway in Idlewood and impound it that way, you might not be able to get it out but if you are in to collecting stuff, well there you have it.

Finally im wondering, what are you going to store? There is a limited amount of space in LS, and if you store stuff overseas in the SF garage or impounds then is there really a difference between picking them up from the impound in 4 star territory and picking them up where you found them?

So maybe you could talk about what you store and where you store it, as well as the order. Personally cars that spawn rarely on the streets or more valuable to me than fixed car locations overseas, such as the Dune in the LV stadium, I wouldnt go out of my way to store that anywhere because well, it is already stored really.

Anyway as a side note im playing the series again with a different mindset than I usually do, im turning off the minimap except for tedious missions and im not using any online guides or maps to find things. I expect this will take a while to get 100% but it ensures that I explore the games and focus on the detail more. Im not really going to do a master save file this time, but I am going to take my time playing the game, so while im doing all the tags in LS (which takes time if you arent using maps) I will also be mixing up my activities by collecting rare vehicles overseas as that is quite thrilling and they are worth more if you actually use them to explore, you value them that much more because you know if you crash your tourismo while looking for tags, its going to be a pain getting another. You can also mod those vehicles if you keep playing through missions.

No beagle I hadn't tried it before to take it to a Impound but the wings are too large even if you push the plane with no person inside you won't be able to make it through the impound doors, the broadway technique might work haven't tried it but there's two problems 1st the LS impound doesn't deal very well with airplanes and 2nd you might be able to store it but you won't be able to use use it afterwards because you can't remove it from the impounds, the "save" wtf I mean the same happens with the cargobo and the hotdog. I might do a video explaining this since it's kind of fun to get these vehicles just to realise in the end that you can't store them.
About the storing of some vehicles in San Fierro impound I will only advice to store vehicles that won't fit in Los Santos either in garages or impound like the rustler or the hydra, at least at this time I have been unable to store these in Los Santos. Also I might advice to store some rare vehicles on the locked areas also if no more space is available in Los Santos, but in those cases I think those vehicles should be taken from Los Santos to San Fierro and Las Venturas ex: taking the phoenix and storing in Dowherty or taking any of the choppers and storing in the Las venturas Impound.
Anyways I will also try to give an idea on how to use the impounds.

Is there any method to obtain Beagle early, because you guys are talking about that it won't fit in any impounds but is there a way to actually obtain it early. I have been trying several different methods, I even brought homie from LS to SF airport in hope that he will be able to open the door and I could snipe him thus leaving the door open. But unfortunately it didn't work.
Also this thread made me motivated to continue on my own master save. My 2nd one, I thought it would be nice to redo it since in my first file I didn't obtain gf's vehicles and such actually I'm trying to do everything possible besides KoSA (I don't really have a time to do that ) but nevertheless I'm interested what do you do in order to raise your criminal rating, do you mind telling me that?

Basically blowing up the airplanes and helicopters in San Fierro Airport with the seasparrow, for some reason on the area with the two hangars where the rustler is parked and the area where the nevada is the hydra will only spawn once and most of the times will crash before they can destroy you, i'm gona post a video about it to.
The beagle you may tow it like the rustler the problem is that you can't store it anywhere not even in the San Fierro Impound, making it probably unobtainable, but I'm refering to unobtainable as vehicles that don't spawn anywhere at this point, the beagle would be gettable if you could store it but it just won't fit.

Yes you can get the ft. Carson Beagle from the very start, and it can be impounded (SF impound works) but I doubt you can get it back out from there.

^getting Ft. Beagle is tough task even without 4-stars imo. BTW @fnxrak Basketball is apperantly available at the beginning on ps2 version but it's from wikia so someone should confirm this..
One more thing..: is Bandito fast enough to make that jump near Flint Intersection, I have been trying to get it this way as it's easier than undrowning, but I can't get it, has anyone managed to get it this way?

Well at least in my version (platinum) in the ps3 it isn't available at the beginning but the wikia mentions the original version so I don't know.

This sounds dumb but...

...In theory, it is plausible to obtain the Stuntplane early,
if impound the wreck or if you're lucky enough... Lucky enough to to be able to enter the fallen one.

I will also do the same, I might not do King of San Andreas (I already just want to start the f*cking story this is getting boring )

Question: Can you obtain the Hydra early before The Big Smoke mission?

If it is, It'll definitely make getting KoSA easier.

The first 200k CR is easy with the Money Trick, the rest 800k is a pain.

I have never seen the stunt plane flying around at this point so i could never try to enter a fallen one...
About the hydra yes it's possible it took me only two months to get it , and yes you would think that it would be easier to use the hydra and I did use it once but that's it just once I realised that the manouverability of the hydra is nothing compared to the seasparrow and actually I was destroying vehicles at a slower rate than with the seasparrow. It could be me I'm so used to flying the seasparrow that the hydra seems less capable. Besides since you can't store the hydra in other places at least that I know taking it out everytime from the impound, blowing up planes and helicopters with it, trying also to dodge hydra at the same time and in the end returning it to the impound it's kinda of a pain. And Yes last 800k are a pain I'm doing runs of 12:00 in game hours that take me more or less 15-20 minutes each already made 200 of these and still haven't reached the 500k.

Do you know a quick way to lose (So I can get the UC2 Dark Grey Vincent) and max out all the money?

I tried storing the hydra there a couple of times but no sucess, actually the hydra is alot bigger than it seems. The max respect you can get it by killing a lot wich also increases the criminal rating. I achieved this by a trick going to Las Venturas building site where the Minigun is so that cops would be on the other side of the wooden fence and using satchel charges to kill them through those fences and also using either the minigun or in my case RPG to knock out the choppers if done correctly you'll be able to survive long enough for the weapons to respawn, I usually do this after getting the horseshoes and on every 6 minutes pickung up the satchels in front of the four dragons casino, also there's a body armor beneath the Camel's Toe casino so you could stay doing this for a long long time. Also the Racing suit and the tattoos and some vehicles can increase that value a litle. Also you could just stay in Glenn Park for example and kill other gangs members, but I think the 1st method a lot quicker or should I say a lot less slower
Things that are a lot of pain because it takes too much time Driving Skills, Total Respect, Flying Skill if you don't want to use the autopilot method and fly across the San Andreas boudries, trying to achieve hitman level on all weapons like I did without missing bullets (it's a challenge of my own, and you won't believe how many times you shoot through ballas or any other pedestrians without counting as a hit), and of course the cherry on top of the cake the "King of San Andreas" Criminal Rating it's so booring

I just need to max out Driving Skill.
I guess I'll max out total respect as well. So, I just kill-kill-kill?
What about killing Ballas or Vagos?
I have this bug in my save where I have no missed bullets (In fact, I have more bullets that hit than fired) and I can't get around that, so yeah, I'm stuck with 100.1% accuracy forever.

Now, once again, do you know any fast method to lose (get below 10k) so I can get the Unique Vincent, and then quickly raise it back, and get it to "Nearly" a Milliard?

I have made far in my own Mastersave, KoSA, Max Driving and Respect and Sex Appeal, UC2 Vincent, Hydra, Rustler and a Milliard/Billion minus one dollar is all I need.

About loosing money that actually not as easy as it seems but playing blackjack gives you better changes to loose and win money fast if you have a good gambling skill, I say this because sometimes i tried to loose money on the roulette by betting on the "0" and won money instead of loosing
Killing ballas or vagos are also a good way.
