I don't know where they got that 5% from because it's total bullsh*t.

They got that data from their online servers. 5% of people that played online through their servers used cockpit view.

GRID 2 is now available for preorder at Steam! And surprisingly enough at a good price and with the best preorder bonus you will find (all 4 DLC packs + GRID 1).

The DLC for a game that hasn't even been released yet, should already be in the game, so I would consider that standard and not a pre-order bonus, even though it actually is. The original GRID is a nice bonus though, especially with the £27 price tag.

Here's a game I'm not really sure to whether buy it for PC or PS3.

I haven't bought any PS3 games lately (last one was FIFA 13), but that PC pre-order bonus looks cool.

As long as your PC can play it at max settings at 60 FPS or above, I'd get it for PC, since I think it's a bit cheaper on Steam. If not then get it for PS3 as that always has satisfactory graphics at a frame rate that very rarely drops.

Considering how well-optimized the first GRID was for PC, i'd think GRID 2 will run relatively well too.

Anyway, get preordering on steam guys!

Well since theres nearly a week left i thought i'd bump this topic. The game looks great, little bit bummed about cockpit view but i can get over it. I cant wait to drive the indycar that was the pre order bonus.

Is there anything that makes this game unique over a game like Grand Tourismo or Forza? Im a big fan of the two but havent played GRID before, lately Ive been looking at some development videos and the most I see that sets them apart is the tracks are mostly custom tracks.

There is LiveRoutes which is where the track changes every lap

That sounds pretty cool also. Im definitely thinking about picking this up I just need to find a way to squeeze it into my budget also trying to find a bigger reason to make this a must get.
