I disagree, if they tell us they aren't there and we spend 6 months complaining about it there is a small chance it could affect their sales.

If they don't give us that negative information until it comes out with the release of the game than it gets overeshadowed by all of the cool features and everything else there will be to talk about.

1. It wasn't about sales - it was about the level of disappointment. The longer you believe you're getting something, the more you'll feel disappointed when you find out you're not getting it.

2. Sales would be the same either way. If someone wouldn't buy the game if it didn't include SF and LV, then they would wait until the locations have been confirmed to make their decision. If "cool features" can persuade them to buy it, they'd buy the game if the cities were revealed 6 months before release or not.
