Maybe they couldn't do blowback because the gun was made of one part in IV. But in MP3, you could see that the gun was made out of different parts, before the game released. So I think they could do blowback with that.

When you aim at a fixed point and fire, not all of your rounds will hit on target due to wind, recoil, bullet imperfections, etc.

This is spread. It's most notable with shotguns, but it is also noticeable with all weapons at farther ranges.

I've always noticed this error in GTA and facepalmed to it, despite knowing it couldn't operate well on the past engine. But in V, they already proved it is possible to add gun blowback in RAGE.

Blowback would really add to the visuals of the guns, which lack detail in IV. Even on the Player Model screen in MP, one of the animations was of the avatar messing with the slide on the Glock. Only, the gun didn't move, it just looked more like he was stroking it... The slide on pistols and the bolts on SMGs like the MP5 or Uzi, really should be animated, not just what looks like the shell of a gun like in IV...

I think V might have this, seeing the screens with the silencers and laser sights, the guns have been much more detailed so far, and it is possible these screens could be months old, as well.
