I'm not sure if this can actually be changed, but I'll suggest it anyways:

When you go to a message in the "sent messages" folder and hit "reply", it should be sending the response to the same person initially messaged. Right now it messages the sender by default.

Why would you want to reply to to a message you already sent to the same user? Seems like an easy way to spam someones PM inbox.

Possibly if you've made a big mistake in your message? For example, missing a link or so.

The reason it does this is because as a Sent Message the system's reply is used to added the address of the sender, viewing it as a Sent Item will list it as message from you hence, reply to yourself.

Simple hit reply Copy and Paste it, then re-send to the the desired user, or Quote it.

Or you could always hit forward...

You'd have to edit out the forward lines and add the person's username to recipients. Replying works too, all you have to do is change your username to their username.

There should be a way to resend a message. I'm just being picky of course. It's not a big deal by any means, aside from when the persons username is tough to remember correctly.
