So i recently install windows xp sp3 on my toshiba laptop and when i try to play Sa-mp or SP ,the textures of the game flash flicker my weapon cross hair dissapears , i didn't have the problem on win 7 or on vista when i bought the laptop (years ago)
Ive tried many thinks like changing 3d settings tried all options ingame , reinstalling san andreas couple of times in different places(which for some reason takes ages)
short ex:im on the sf airport and the road texture changes and its like covering my view for couple of seconds then dissapears , aiming with any gun , crosshair dissapears , its not because of mods because i have the game unmodded.

I also tried to use stream mem fix that didnt do anything .

Try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode first. Also, delete the gta_sa.set file from the User Files folder.

And why would you install XP SP3 when you already had Win 7? That doesn't make any sense.

because with win7 the computer was really slow and so were the games i installed,pretty much unplayeble , i already deleted the gta set thinky and same thing also i cant play samp with the compability on windows 98 its takes like 5 minutes to load still got the graphic stuff and also really low fps with frezzes



Also i got all the drivers up to date

Check if you have any texture mods installed. If yes, either delete them or replace the gta3.img file with the original file. Hope this helps.

Ugh, laptop Intel graphics chips, I'm not sure if you're going to have any luck with that to be honest, your graphics chip is a misery especially for a laptop. I'd consider an upgrade, because I can't see any more solutions other than finding some mod to decrease texture quality or lowering the resolution?
