While doing a clean install this error pops up halfway through:

Feature: Grand Theft Auto IV
Component: GTAIV_Dynamic
File: D:\GTAIV\data2.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

My username should be called MAN_WITH_ERRORS or something lol.gif

But seriously, what does this mean and how can I fix it?

Any scratches on the disc?
Do you get the same error even when you don't run the setup in compatibility mode?
Alternatively, you can try copying contents of both the discs onto your HDD and install the game from there.

Disk has very minor scratches, and how do you run setup in compatibility mode? I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS.

Well, it won't work then if the disc is messed. As I said, copy the contents from both discs on your HDD and install the game from there.

Ok, I hope I'm doing this right because my computer says it will take 13 HOURS to copy disc one, and 12 HOURS for disc two.

God I wish this didin't happen... suicidal.gif

EDIT: OMG I got this error:

Can't read from the source file or disk.

Okay, I've got another suggestion. Try to use another computer or laptop and copy the files there. And then copy them to your own PC. It takes a lot, but that's the only thing that comes in my mind right now.
