Whenever a cops in a shootout with some bad guys, and you shoot the bad guys. They not only shoot back, but the cops shoot you and you get a wanted level. I think it'd be cool if you come across shootouts that if you decide to help the cops, they don't shoot at you but actually reward you with money or something at the end of it?

If i can't remember clearly, GTA: Vice city had one long time ago. I would like to see that in GTAV and a great idea as well.

I always found it fun in GTA 4 to start gunfights between NPC's and Cops, and then watching the gunfight. It's actually really entertaining

I like the idea. It adds variety to how the AI reacts to your actions. The AI has become so predictable at this point, and they really need to do something to mix things up a bit.

In GTA: Vice City you could earn 50 bucks each time you kill a bad guy.
I loved that feature and I like helping cops. Why they are your enemies is b'cause you kill peds and run over people lol
I do not understand why you get chased by a cop when you killed the bad guy while that cop was chasing that bad guy.
Maybe it was b'cause CJ was black?

It was in GTA already. For the record, it was called "Good Citizen Bonus" and it was in III, VC/S, LCS

It was a reward system for helping a cop apprehend a culprit by any means, even if you shot the culprit dead, you were still rewarded ($500 i believe).

GTA VCS had it, When you shoot the person the cops were after you would get a $50 Good Citizen reward.

I like the idea. Also, NPCs shouldn't be able to attack you and get away with it, while you, when defending yourself, get attacket by your attackers and cops. That sucked pretty much in SA but I can't quite recall whether it's been that way in IV, been too long since I last played it.

Personally I don't think they should pay you $500 for it, they should just not try to arrest you for helping them.

I'd personally prefer it if the cop just walked up and said thanks afterwords.

I like vigilante missions, but those are still criminal acts. I know it's just a game, but in real life when criminals who help cops go to prison, they get put into protective custody with the sex offenders. You're a criminal in GTA. Not like RDR where you can play as a hero. I just think R* should respect the criminal code.

Yes I would like it brought back from the GTA III era. I was really annoyed that the cops would shoot me for killing who they wanted dead.

Yea you could punch the criminal up to six times and get upto 300 dollars.

It's your choice though to be good or bad at times. It's a sandbox.
