I've been collecting money for some time just to build a new PC. I want to get as maximum performance as it is possible at Latvia costs. My budget is about Ls 300, and I'm thinking of NVidia GTX560 or 560SE GPU and AMD-FX 4 core CPU. What other parts (mobo,CD/DVD/BD drives,Audio cards, etc.) would you reccommend?
Here's some links to our local PC part shops, so you can get an idea of what the costs are like: Tera, M79(sorry, no english version) and Baltic Data (again, no english).

Thanx in Advance

Here's a setup from Tera:

Case: Coolermaster Elite 250

Case fans: 3x Xilence 120mm

PSU: FSP 350W (this is enough for the HD7770 video card which uses 250W at full load)

Motherboard: AsRock 990FX

CPU: AMD FX 4100 Bulldozer Quad Core

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1600

Video card: Gigabyte HD7770 1GB

HDD: Seagate 250GB SATAIII

ODD: Sony 24x SATA DVD writer

Total: 367.86 LVL

That's the best I could do.

Wouldn't it make more sense to get i3-2120 instead of FX-4100?

Well, if you want the maximum performance FX-4100 is definitely not the right way to go. You would be better off buying Phenom II X4.

If you live in Riga, it shouldn't be a problem getting to them. They are very kind to the customers - if you want to change the RAM to a bigger one, they'll do it very quickly and probably they will let you have a different graphics card if you ask them. Not so sure, as they may not have any in stock.

They have more PCs in your budget range (290-305ls), but they all had integrated graphics cards, so I didn't list them.

P.S. Their warranty is valid only if you don't open the computer's case.

Both PCs have weak graphic cards. Also the PSU manufacturer isn't mentioned, so there is 99% possibility that they turn out to be crappy noname ones.

Which is why I told him that he could ask for a different graphics card.

Plus it's more than a great upgrade from the MX440, anyway.

The point isn't that it's a good update, the point is those builds are sh*ttier than they could be for the equivalent price.

So, you want FX-4100 and GTX560, but it's a bit over your budget.

http://m79.lv/datori/m79-s5-ultra_11140.html

But if you can't afford it, then go for this one then

http://m79.lv/datori/m79-s4-ultra_9888.html

Which is all same apart from lower price and HD6770.

While the first is better, an i5 or i7 would definitely be better.

Wouldn't it be cheaper if I buy parts and stick 'em together?
