I try to post in the showroom category because it has been lock in the modelling .(considering pointless there , i don't think it will survive here either ...)
But come on ! Can we just messing around sometime and do useless thing just for the creativity and for the love of modding and trying things ?

I just want your opinion , if you like this kind of thing or if i just annoying everyone with this , just say it , and i will stop bothering you .

this is goddamn awesome. It's obviously not something I would use as a mod in my own game, but it looks amazing.

It's more like a machinima mod or something, and probably not for regular gameplay. Perhaps it'll also be best if you place a map object with a solid colour (i.e. an empty room) and work with your characters from there.

yeah , it will be cool to have a discotech with different popy rooms and black dancers but i love the idea to just switch skin with skin_cs and bam!

is this a sript that make anything around the player become pink?or you make a map that totally pink? ...its not clear...you didnt explain the point of the mod...i guess that is the reason why your old topic was locked...

You're maybe right .
Let me explain .
The point of this mod is just trying to make a single skin that look directly close as possible as an ipod commercial .

It's in fact a big bubble attach to the player ( the girl skin ) like this :


It's more like a challenge and not a playable skin ( fun 2 second ) but there 2 technical point i though that might be interesting to deal with :
-First , the bubble thing , trying to enveloppe the screen without hitting the ground but with some mouvements , its fail ( don't know if i use the best approch , its attach to the pelvis ).
-second , make full color (primary for the moment ) that not be alterate by light or environement , and i think this point could be useful for other thing maybe more playable , but
for the moment , i use a really strange technic that i don't fully understand why it work ( with double mesh and masked one), i try with simple various parametre in material but it never work .

And an other reason that i love to try this , is because it's absurde .

Edit:it's hard to drive you could make a fix and make it that when you get in a vehicle the bubble goes away or fades a little bit that would be nice

yes this is hard, but makeable with using some script
