So in your scenario is the whole map open from the beginning or are some parts locked at first like RDR and every GTA game to date? Do you have to re-open the map with each different protag? I'm guessing no because all the islands were open in TLAD/TBOGT.

Also if GTAV has skills like in San Andreas (driving, shooting, flying, etc.) will you have to build those up for each character?

I like the way the iv'th era planned out. Luis, Niko, Johnny live completely different lives and to play as them was awesome. But I wouldnt really like it if the main story was split into three. I want to play 80+ missions with one character not in the mid 20's. It was okay with luis and johnny becasue those games were dlc's

Iv always wanted to play as a dangerous, yet hot girl for the first time ever. Why not there was a badass chick in GTA 3.

If we did get to use a female then we could use all those female stores that R* created(if you don't know em then check the ingame colthing section on the internet) she could have better stamina nd agility compared to most of the GTA male characters.
This would definatly be a bold new direction since we've never had 1.

After GTA IV Complete, I can hardly see how choosing between multiple protagonists would be a "bold new direction." It's been done. If anything, being able to operate crews and multiple characters at once (like in the Mass Effect series) would be a genuinely bold new direction for GTA. I'd prefer that to three short campaigns, personally.

The first character could have a fun light hearted story like the classic GTA games. The second could have a serious story like IV had and the third...who knows? Just wanted to share with you all What do you think of it?
