I just got to thinking Chev badges on the VF will actually make sense now it's being sold in the U.S as a Chev. All of the VE SV6s around here with Chev badges make me cringe.

FGs used to come with the old BOSS 5.4L when Ford were still making XR8s, but the only way to get an FG V8 now is an FPV with the 5L Coyote V8.

There are talks Ford may bring back the XR8 name plate next year.

Yah sorry, I just meant the FG body for the V8 Supercars, they used that well after even the base model FG came out on the roads.

I did not realize this until the wagon version was released, that the VF is actually a warmed over VE.
