SOLUTION!:


A line of text is too long, find it and make it shorter.

Hey, I didn't post this in bug reports because I saw numerous people post about this and none of them were answered.

After I edited my mission text in notepad and added color, I now get this for every single part of my mission where it contains text:



I'd appreciate some help

Did you use notepad++?

As for the colors, those are the codes:
~g~: Green text
~b~: Blue text
~p~: Purple text
~r~: Red text
~y~: Yellow text
~w~: White text (Do this after changing the text color, Otherwise you might have some bugs.)

Oh yeah I forgot, try not making your text to long while adding colors. Otherwise, it might display two different texts while playing the mission, which is not so pretty.

Yep, I used those codes.

It worked for the name of the mission but after that everything turned into "12345..."

And yeah I did edit it in notepad++ =/

UPDATE: It's actually happening with EVERY mission!! Eep!

Mmm... that kind of problem looks really weird...

Can you give an example of what text do you want to put colors on. So we might be able to figure out.

Or try to analyze other author missions that contain coloring texts, you might be able to find the way it is done.

The fix for this problem is:-
Step 1:- Go to your GTA SA main game directory.
Step 2:- There will be a folder named 'CLEO'
Step 3:- Open the folder.
Step 4:- Delete every file that is present in the folder.
Run the mission! Text would be normal!
BTW I posted this solution in bug reports topic.

How it works? There is a plug in called GXT hook when you install CLEO, this causes numbers to appear in text( in some cases), deleting the file removes this plugin. So the problem is solved!
