Seriously, wy not create a brand new city? Liberty (GTA III) was great, even if not inspired to a single city... a new city that put realistic neighborhoods and new settings would be great

I think the most logical explanation for this is that it depends of the contents of V. If links in with many different cities from characters to references then those cities could become possible sequels. I personally hope it's Vice City because that would be the main three have been done. Liberty city first, now a West coast based V with LA and hopefully next will be Vice City and Florida for VI.
