when does malc'S FIRST encounter occur?? io've rode straight to wjhere it is and he's never there. NEVER!I CHECK EVERY TIME I LEAVE THE CHAPTER HOUSE.. malc just is never around. 36% into the game but he's just non existant.

Has he been introduced to you in missions? I don't think you can meet him before you have done some missions with him.

Scars is correct. He will appear as a random person encounter not far from when you first meet the character with that mission where you are given pipe bombs and have to blow up AoD vans. The random characters do appear on the little in game map. Unlike IV you don't have to be in the area for them to appear and be visible on the little map. But they do appear after set missions. Though I can't remember which ones.
