This seems the perfect place to put this, I NEED PEOPLES HELP!

I have a £50 budget and want too invest in some good games that will keep me occupied until GTA V. Now I was thinking about Max Payne 3 and RDR, which would mean getting RDR for £10 and MP3 for about £34... But tbh, They dont look like "amazing" games. I want a game i can get into, i can play for hours and not get bored and keeps me interested on the edge of my seat. Genre doesnt have to be too specific but no Skyrim... Far too boring for me.

Cheers in advance and here's to GTA V info!

Keep you busy until V? Woah.. That has to be 10 games MINIMUM!

OT: I'd suggest you L.A. Noire if you haven't tried it yet, its an awesome game, couldn't get away from it since i first got it.
Then, Batman Arkham City. I know, you'll think "CHILDISH GAME" But its very different... It's a good game. Big area, lots of enemies, good missions.
If you like basketball, try out NBA 2k12. Its good also.

Argh, why don't you mention what platform you're on?

I suppose not PC, as you said RDR. Then I can't help.

Admittedly, RDR didn't look amazing to me in the build up to its release, but having had some spare cash and a bit of free time available, I bought the game on release day and have never once regretted it. The game is easily in the top 3 best releases this Gen in my opinion.

However, it would help if you mentioned what platform you own along with some of the games that you already have so we know not to mention them But as mentioned before, Arkham City is a great title. I'm still playing it fairly regularly myself.

If you like open world games, Try Sleeping dogs. It's coming out in August 14 in USA and 17 in UK smile.gif

In this case, i would say pick up RDR and Dark Souls, those games will last at least a month to complete (Dark Souls is very time-consuming, believe me)

Max Payne 3 was a sad choice, linear shootings will only keep you entertained once, and it's rather short.

RDR could be fun if you can get into it, I couldn't.

This. MP3 kept me entertained for 2 weeks. And that's all.

SR3 kept me entertained for 2 months and that's even without side missions and further DLCs.

That's why even lame open world game like SR 1,2,3 or True Crime NYC > any shooter (even good one) for me.

Sleeping Dogs is the best choice for a game though.
It has the full experience of linear shooters, but it has more.
Like the free running, hand to hand and driving, which are games in themselves, unlike most games which only have 1 thing (driving, shooting, hand to hand, etc)

Yes. Look into that!

It's open world so it'll keep you occupied for awhile.

Just pre-ordered it myself yesterday!

MP3 won't keep you entertained for long. I bought it launch day, and I'm pretty much rarely playing it now. Once you finish the main game, there's nothing. The multi won't keep you occupied for long, in my opinion.

RDR on the other hand is a great choice!

RDR for sure. If you're into linear shooters, MP3 is as good as they come, don't think I'll see anything that good in years. But as others have said, its a bit on the short side.
