Hey guys, Your sick of the bullsh*t Grand Theft Auto IV servers yes? The fact that invites often aren't sent or received. The fact your 'phone-book' loads only most of your friends. The fact that large 8v8 games are near impossible. Well, I've been sick of it myself lately. Just now I tried to get on Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, And I got this: "Cannot connect to game provider, Please try again later." I figured it was my connection, until three of my friends tell me the same. Ever since Max Payne 3 came over the servers have been getting even worse. And ever since Red Dead Redemption came out Rockstar have been neglected Grand Theft Auto IV players. Sure they did an event for the four year anniversary, but what we want is an update! I've had it, and due to my current boredom I've born an petition. Sign it here! With each signature, Rockstar receives an email. Let's overwhelm them!

What do you guys think?

Personally, I think it's long overdue.

Yes GTA V, MAY be out soon, but this game still have months of game life left.

Its been 2 years since last patch for IV came out and it was just becouse of release of EFLC. R* will not patch this game doesnt matter how many emails we will send them. They got thousands of reports about cheaters including those from me, they even asked me to explain them "how does this cheats works so they can reproduce them in testing and than patch" I did and even someone loged as Rockstar Games (not Support Tier) answered me but they still didnt do anything about it. They just want people to stop playing this game becouse they wont make more money on it and want us to buy MP3. Problems you got on PS3 are nothing compared to problems on PC, even when there is better multiplayer system on PC

I like how few people have considered that perhaps R* inadvertently designed the online to be unpatchable in certain respects.

R* isn't stupid, they make great games and usually hold up their hands if they've ****ed up. I think if they could have fixed the issues they would have already.

...........Annnnd it's a four year old game. They've stopped caring because it's old and it's difficult to go and fix old projects that barely made it past beta phase, especially when your new product is only a few yards away from the end of the assembly line.

All the bugs/glitches and uglier parts of what make GTA IV's multiplayer a sort of special experience. Like installing Linux or something.

Great way of looking at it, and maybe it is too negative but I think requesting them to fix an old game is going to be fruitless, we should let them focus on V and then immediately be on their back for anything that is causing issue in that game once it is out.

IV:MP isn't made by Rockstar... You're probably thinking about the vanilla multiplayer mode for GTA IV, which is horrible due to no dedicated servers, no admins, tons of exploits, lag, no custom scripting, etc. It's highly over-shadowed by the work done by MTASA and sa-mp... (200+ players vs. a max of 32) And it's never going to get support from R* again.

Anyways, IV:MP is a third-party multiplayer mod (similar to vc-mp, MTAVC, sa-mp and MTASA.) And it's pretty much you're best bet if you want online play in IV to revive. But it looks like development has ceased on it.

Dude NASA PC wouldnt handle 200 players on server in IV, when server is getting full my fps is going down even with my pretty good PC and original GTA IV multiplayer is very good, I hope R* wont change much in V just improve some things.

I just so happened to have use it's abbreviation, this is more so for Console Gamers and PC Multiplayer will always be some what unjust.

They should have just let the players do the programming. SAMP was good but MTA SA was too laggish for my crappy PC.
