Goldeneye takes the cake for being a movie licensed game, imo.
Apart from a few frustrations I found in the single player level design (that I can remember), it was absolutely class.

Anyway, about the poll..
at $90 that's a f*cking steal.

I'd gladly pay $150+ for those games!

The Warriors though, game adaptation of a cult film. The atmosphere, the crimes, the music and original actors. inlove.gif

Why would I pay for something I played before and finished even if I had so much fun with it? I don't see the point of wasting money even if it's priced at 5$. However, I wouldn't mind to play an old game I didn't play before, such as Manhunt series. I don't let nostalgia to take over me. It's just a matter of 'I want it', and then you hate it the second you start playing it. Just like when you die over the desire of eating some fatty food, but then you say, why?

Dude, what the hell are you on?
Whatever you just said there makes no sense at all.

About the first part of your post, I don't see what's so hard to understand, a fun game is a fun game.
I find myself going back to play old, or even not so old games all the time, as long as I enjoy it, I don't really see it as a waste.

My analogy would be a film.
You've seen a film once and really enjoy it.
By your reasoning, it's "a waste" to buy the movie because you've already seen it.

I understand that it being "a waste" is your opinion or whatever, but I just think it's kind of silly.

@*MURDOC*

I was just expressing my opinion that paying for an old game that I finished, even if I had so much fun with, is just a waste of money. If I already have the game, it's OK, I can play it, but never buy it again If I don't have it already. Look at Konami as an example. They have released MGS3 multiple times. One time on PS2, then a second time on PS3 and Xbox 360, and a third time for Nintendo 3DS. The same game, but just to get more profits out of it, which is a thing I would never ever support. I even laugh on mindless people, showing how proud they're by getting all those collector editions. You can go ahead and buy every collector edition out there, and let those big companies get more profits out of old products rather than working on something new and innovative.

Laughing at people buying things they enjoy, you sound like a cool dude.
But hey that's your opinion.

My opinion is that your opinion is laughably narrow-minded and sort of delusional.

Not to mention your Konami example is flawed, but that's not opinion.

I'm a bit lost. When I played The Warriors on my HDTV on my PS2 I was wishing the graphics were upgraded. Although I loved them at the time or thought they were OK. I would love to see the graphics made in to HD. I don't think that would be milking it or it being gimmicky. The problem is, memories of games I've played ages ago is still sweet, graphically but then when I really see it's like, wow, these are a bit dated.

Don't get me wrong, graphics aren't the end all and be all of gaming. I'm happily playing through San Andreas now, it's just HD versions would be cool.

I just wish Rockstar would do this.
They could split it up so it would be

Rockstar HD Collection: Vol. I
GTA III
GTA VC
GTA SA
GTA VCS
GTA LCS

Rockstar HD Collection: Vol. II
Red Dead Revolver
Max Payne
Max Payne 2
Manhunt
Manhunt 2
The Warriors [if paramount wouldn't throw a fit over royalties]

Wait, what?
I get the collectors edition for every game I get as well as the standard edition so I can play it and keep the collectors edition unopened because I collect them.

It doesn't bother me that I'm spending almost 3x more than I would just getting the standard edition.
I can afford it and I don't mind giving companies I love some support.

So you laugh at that?
That's kinda lame confused.gif
