xbox 360 controller for gta 3

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Jan 7, 2012	when i use an xbox 360 controller in gta 3 the game wont let me assign anything to the left and right trigger. i have found a way round this by using xpadder but i would prefer not to so is there any way to use the left and right trigger in the gta 3 control options ?
