| QUOTE (finn4life @ Monday, Aug 20 2012, 22:43) | | I have a completely different opinion than you, but I'm too lazy to support it or discuss it. | Real interesting. FPSes aren't too bad, they just became sh*tty after people started whining about how many there were, mostly because the call of duty and battlefield series started releasing games faster. Now you're not cool if you like shooting enemies from a first-person perspective, although you really shouldn't care if what you play is cool. The biggest downside to the FPS genre is that immature 13-year-old boys are one of the most common people you'll find playing the game. I don't think anyone looking at it from a consumer's perspective thinks DLC is a good thing, but that's how developers make money now. It is their game, and their choice to use it, and I don't think anyone's in a position to tell them to stop. It can be pretty ridiculous though, for example, I want the tomahawk from RDR's legend and killers DLC, but I'm not going to pay $10 just to get it. I have no interest in anything else in the pack, but all I keep hearing about is how awesome the weapon is.

| QUOTE (redx165 @ Tuesday, Aug 21 2012, 02:26) | | I think this gen of gaming sucks cause these publishers milk almost every game they can get and take out half the content for a quick buck. | Good news is that if you're a fan of driving, you need not worry;
1. FPS games won't be worth a thing to you. 2. Avoiding EA titles is pretty easy, meaning that horrible DLC plans won't suck you in.
