| QUOTE (hristobg @ Thursday, Aug 23 2012, 04:01) | I don't want to read all these 20 pages, but I'm sure it will be released in October, this year. Okay, I don't know if it's mentioned before, but I will mention it (again perhaps).

Check the parachutist. Seems familiar? It looks like the mexican guy a bit.

I did a bit of exposure level to the new screenshot, given by Rockstar Games. Seems like the guy in the hydra is the same old guy, probably ONE of the main protagonists. Or, okay, the protagonist shall be only one, but I believe this mexican guy is hired by him to do and help him with the "dirt job".

Back to the mexican guy. I will say it again, I don't know if it's being spotted already, I believe it is, but I will mention it. The police chase proves my theory from above. 90% chance that the mexican guy is doing the dirty job for the richer and older half-bald guy.
Just a few frames after, check this out from the trailer:

OCT? Yes, now to the real deal. Also, check the numbers - lets do a simple math. 86-72=14. 14 October? Is this the date? 90% positive! Check the info. in IMDb for GTAV - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2103188/.

Remember this date? 24 May?

Also, let me think of another theory. What if "OCT" from the plate doesn't refers to the month. What if, just... what if, is to a county? We all know that Los Santos is based on Los Angeles, Southern California. And usually, the car plates are kind of named in the county they were manufactured. OCT probably refers to another county in Southern California - Orange County. Also, GTAV won't include only Los Santos, we all know that. And one last thing to kind of prove this theory:
Do you remember the TV Show - The O.C.? In the first two episodes, you can see hidden advertising of GTA and Rockstar Games. Sorry, but I don't have the screen with English subtitles.

(Do you wanna play Grand Theft Auto? It's very cool. You can steal cars...)
Maybe now, almost 10 years later, Rockstar Games are trying to thank to the producers of the show or something like that. | Apply you palm to your face, and behold a FACEPALM

Yeah I know.... Itīs Pachter... make of it what you want. | QUOTE | GTA 5 Promotion Suggests 'Game Close To Finished', Release Date Next - Analyst Tom Hopkins
Is Rockstar gearing up for a GTA 5 release date announcement with the release of new game assets? Could be, thinks Michael Pachter.
Published on Aug 23, 2012 Grand Theft Auto 5 is in the middle of its most significant promotional push to date, with six new screens launched this week alone, and three more to come.
Rockstar had remained relatively quiet since announcing the game with a trailer back in November last year.
So does all this activity mean we'll get some solid information on GTA 5's gameplay and release date soon?
"I've been consistently wrong in attributing rational behavior to the Rockstar folks," Wedbush Securities Michael Pachter told NowGamer.
"The uptick in promotion suggests that the game is close to being finished and that they are ready to announce a release date, but they haven't always behaved rationally in the past- remember the trailer released on November 1, 2011? - so I don't want to ascribe rational behavior this time around."
Pachter confirmed that Rockstar is "building up to a release date announcement" in his opnion, and that a release date that falls "pre-Christmas is possible."
Given Rockstar's unpredictable nature though, the analyst added that he's "repared to be wrong once again" when it comes to his latest GTA 5 prediction.
Take-Two's financial forecasts suggests that the publisher needs to launch GTA 5 by April 2013. |

People on here make better predictions that him. He's covering ass "I could be wrong!". He said nothing new. We already know what he said. I think this is all building up to a release date/trailer and a 2012 is possible still.
