Hey everyone,

I'm new to modding Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I have the PC Steam version and Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. I'm trying to install the Winnie the Pooh mod (found here: http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-san...ayer-mods/5875) for San Andreas and I'm having trouble doing it.

I tried using IMG 2.0 tool and followed some steps to mod the game so that the size of the archives remained un-changed. Eventually, I replaced the two files: "player.wtd" and "player.dff" with the new one's from the Winnie the Pooh mod (yes, I did rename "pooh.wtd" and "pooh.dff" to "player.wtd" and "player.dff", respectively. But when starting GTA:SA, CJ is still the main character, but slightly mutated. It seems there's something I'm missing.

I read a lot about a CLEO skin changer, but I'm not sure if that's what I need. Also if it is what I need, how would I go about getting the Winnie the Pooh mod to work? And what is the CLEO skin changer?

The steam version of San Andreas is next to impossible to mod as far as I know.Buy the game(DVD) and try it then.That version of San Andreas is 1.0,which is the easiest to mod.

You need to replace DFF and TXD with someone pedestrian. After replace you must install Skin changer or similar mod to change personality to Pooh.
By the way - why Pooh?

The Steam version is difficult but I've found a way to link to another file without changing size. So I should be able to mod.

Can anyone explain how to install and use a skin changer? I've never done this before

And why Pooh: My sister (12) is a Pooh fanatic and wants to try it out; she saw videos of it being used and thought it was cute.

Plus, why would ya want a winnie the pooh model??

(Steam .exe's is a different .exe file compared to normal ones)

I've just come to realize that most mods probably won't work, since it's steam and it's v2.

For the steam version, shouldn't you be able to download a cracked v1.0 gtasa.exe and your all set?
