Okay, so I bought GTA: Complete Edition for the PS3. When the screen appears, to choose which game you want to play, I picked GTA IV. It installed the data to the hardrive fine. When I got to the mission: Pegerino's Pride, I decided to start TLAD. I waited it to install the data, but it would be slow and eventually the sound would be cut off. The same happens with Ballad of Gay Tony. It won't install succesfully. It eventually stops at halfway through. Please help. sad.gif

Okay, first off I'm not a newbie so you can get off my back. Second off, I've already completed the game and nothing happened with the other episodes, so your statement is invalid.

OK, lose the attitude. I'm quite certain he didn't mean anything special with his opening remark, though it wasn't a most fortunate one.

How much free space do you have on your hard drive? If GTA installs most of the files to the drive, it will take a lot of space.

Went to my system information thing and it said 212GB/298GB.

Definitively not a HDD space issue.
Have you tried reinstalling GTAIV? I'm not sure which version of the game you have, if you have standalone EFLC then GTAIV isn't required, but otherwise that may be the problem.

Okay.
Well, I have the complete edition which has the original game and the episodes. I don't own a GTA IV disc on PS3. I installed GTA IV fine, but TBOGT and TLAD, i can't install.

Do you have a separate installer for every part of the game or what? Try uninstalling everything GTAIV related and then install again.

No I don't and I've tried deleting the GTA IV game data then reinstalling it to the hard drive. Doesn't work.

There could be a problem with the disk. Do you have access to another console unit where you could try installing the game?

Okay, I've lost all interest with the game now. Looks like I won't be playing it. Oh well, but thanks for trying to help me. smile.gif
